I have been doing this system with my son who is dyslexic and he has gained leaps and bounds!! He has improved with his fluency and in his ability to finally retain vocabulary!! I would highly... recommend this system to anyone who has children that have struggled or just need a little help!!read more
Easyread has totally transformed my 9 year old daughter’s reading in 3 months. She had struggled with reading since Reception but had battled really hard to get to a good level so that she could... cope with school work. It was taking her a long time to read though, she was guessing and skipping words more and more, and she was starting to fall behind at school. Now she is reading without effort and her teachers are all very surprised at the changes since Christmas! Her spelling is also steadily improving. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Easyread!read more
This system has made such a difference to my daughter’s reading. She loves doing it, never complains and has gained such confidence. I’m not sure I’ve ever rated a system so highly but these... guys really deserve the praise. This is the best money I’ve spent and applaud the work Easyread are doing for our kids’ educations long term.read more
All I can say is that my son has gone from barely recognising sight words at age 8 to reading words I never thought he would. This program has been amazing for him and his confidence. It is so good... that I have asked the school to continue teaching this method, which has been supported by the educational psychologist who apparently recommends this also.read more

This program made reading accessible to my son. He has struggled with articulation and even though he memorized the words he needed to know for school, but couldn't recognize them visually. This... meant that he was always guessing which word from his mental list to say. He's so much better at sounding words out and actually knowing what words he's looking at!read more
We appreciate that it is a different style of teaching than what she is getting in school. It is giving her more confidence and she looks forward to doing the lessons each day.I am not a fan of... some of the games...lots of “shooting” games, gun sounds, gun references etc. I feel like the same lessons could be accomplished without such violet themes.read more

I will admit to being a bit of a skeptic trying a reading system I first saw in a Facebook ad. I was intrigued by the trainer text aspect of it and we decided to give it a try for our 8 year old who... has really struggled with reading. We are just over 90 lessons into Easyread and I am so glad we took a chance! Not only is her reading improving, but she loves the lessons. Everything has progressed exactly as they said we should expect and the support has been excellent. She also really loves that as she completes certain lessons she receives a prize code and a prize in the mail - it is very motivating for her. We have been very happy with this program and I would highly recommend it.read more
What can I say!!! Easy read is amazing 🌟. I struggled at first, deciding wether to take the plunge as the cost seemed a bit steep, but it is honestly the best decision I have made for my sons... education and mental health. My son who has ADHD found everything about reading a struggle. The decoding of sounds was a puzzle to him, getting him to focus was an emotional nightmare for us both and his confidence took a real dive. Therefore, he didn’t really enjoy reading and every aspect of his education was affected by this.We have tried may ‘fun’ apps and although they help a little, they get boring. Easyread does makes learning fun, but the difference is you can actually see their brain click! And that I think, is what keeps him interested, he knows he is learning and he knows he’s progressing. Yes we still have hard days/ slow weeks but the learning is quick enough to make a real impact, in addition the games are fun and the book selections are interesting. We are 90 days in. My son reads most short words fluently, he is recognising the different sound combinations and corrects himself when he’s made a mistake BUT it is my son’s growth in confidence I am most grateful to easyread for. He has moved up stages in reading at school and this has a knock on effect to everything else. He is reading his own books at night!I must mentioned the care and support the staff provide. I have learnt so much as a parent of the challenges my son faces from the parent training. The staff are always on hand for support and providing advice. We still have a long way to go, but easyread has given me hope that he will enjoy reading instead of dreading it. Thank you 🙏🏻read more
My son was struggling to read the simplest words. like The and And. He didn't try because he was tired of failing. He was resorting to memorizing books and not actually learning to read. Easy Read... has been a game changer. It is game oriented and my sons confidence to try has gone up so much. He gets better everyday!!read more
Yes! We have noticed a huge difference in Sebastian’s ability to decode words improving his reading.
We love the reassuring support and regular communication with Easyread. They show that we matter and they care about our progress.
Our 5 year old has been in the program for a few months and his progress is amazing! The lessons are short and he looks forward to them and doesn't fight us on reading anymore! Thanks, Easyread team!

My son and I both love the Easyread program! We are at lesson 43 and the progress he has made in his daily reading for school is astounding. He has moved up three reading levels just since we started... the program. I am so thankful we found this program. He enjoys it and NEVER fights doing it! In fact, he looks forward to it. If your child is struggling with reading like mine was, use the Easyread program!read more
One of my sons hated reading because he had a VERY hard time sounding out words he didn’t know. If he got to a word he hadn’t memorized (a sight word), he would get upset and refuse to read... anymore. I came across EasyRead and we decided to try the free 10 day trial. BEST DECISION EVER!!! He loved playing the games and was so motivated to earn the prizes that come in the mail at different levels! His brother kept begging to do it too. Now they have both been doing it for a few months and we have seen such huge progress! His brother didn’t seem to have reading difficulties but through EasyRead, we discovered that he had an eye tracking problem we didn’t even know about. They are very responsive with help and feedback! If you are looking for a great program that your kids are motivated to do, with a built in tutor (Yes. Real people that will do Zoom tutorials with you and your child to help you!), then I can’t recommend this program enough! Short of a miracle, I didn’t think we would make anywhere near the progress we have made! My son has progressed from level 2 to level 8 reading (based on school testing) in just the last month! They take a very positive approach to learning and now my kids love reading and writing!! I can’t wait to see what the future months bring since we are just at lesson 90 (where the program states you really start to see the progress). Also, if you are concerned about dyslexia or other reading difficulties, this program is designed to discover the underlying issue and address it/correct it. The icing on the cake is that they offer a 90 day money back guarantee, which clearly means they believe in their program (and it’s obvious why to me)!! It works and you have nothing to lose by trying it, especially since the billing is month to month!read more
My daughter is 9 and has been struggling with reading and writing. She has an iep and is in basic skills in school. With all her extra help in our public school she is still struggling so much. So far we are loving the program.read more
Having tried a variety of programs that help for a short while but then become boring and the battle starts again I was struggling to find something to help my son. After listening to the videos... about Easyread they perfectly described my son, so decided it was worth a try. Easyread uses simple games that appeal to my son's competitive nature so he doesn't mind the 20 minutes each day. You do need to put the work in to get the best from the system but there is a lots of help and advice through the course. The little prizes my son receives in the post are great for encouraging him to. He did not decode words at all before the course and would guess the words (with a great memory this worked for a while). This course is slowly but surely teaching him to decode the words. I was hesitant to buy this course due to the cost but it is proving to be worth the expense.read more
This has been amazing. My son hated reading and COVID really slowed him down. He was 3 levels behind at the beginning of the school year and is now almost caught up. We are 45 lessons in now and... he doesn't fight us on reading and writing anymore. Thanks Easyread!!read more
If only there was a 6 star option for Easyread. This online program has been life changing for my 7 year old son, who is dyslexic and also exhibits ADHD behaviours. He is a clever kid, however his... inability to concentrate and stay focused had impacted his literacy development, and therefore his self confidence. We are now at Lesson 91 and he has made incredible progress, particularly over the last couple of months. It really helps that he loves the program, which is highly engaging and has a focus on fun and games. He is gaining more confidence with every lesson and is trusting himself more as his vocabulary improves. We try to aim for the minimum 5 lessons a week (sometimes less if we need to go over school home readers or during school holiday) and we commit to sitting down for the prescribed 15 minutes before we leave for school. My son works best in the mornings so even though I am not always in the right headspace, I grab a strong cup of tea and we sit down together. We have become closer through this process and I have learnt so much about him that I simply would never have known. The Easyread golden rules are hugely helpful and if followed to the letter you can't go wrong. For me though, the most amazing aspects of this program is the preparation training offered to parents and guardians (short videos and questions) and the personalised support that is offered by the Easyread team based in Oxford UK. I live in Tasmania, Australia and my support person Amy is always quick to reply to my emails and checks in regularly to gauge my son's progress. When I express a concern about something or I need extra help, she offers me effective strategies and encourages my commitment. There are also brilliant prizes posted to my son at different stages, which adds an extra level of excitement when checking the letterbox! The monthly cost of the Easyread program is one you do need to consider, however I see it as the equivalent of paying a private tutor once a week. You also really need to have the time and energy to commit 100% to helping your child, otherwise it could become another thing on your long 'to do' list. It has been the best investment of my life because I know it is quite literally going to change my son's. Thank you David Morgan and all the Easyread team.read more

My son started the Easyread programme shortly after his 7th birthday after I came across it, desperately searching for help. Before starting Easyread, progress was very slow and it often felt as... though we were at a standstill. Lots of tears and tantrums on both ends! Within the 5 months of following the programme, Karlo is now able to ‘access’ reading and can decode words that he is not able to sight read. Easyread has given him the foundation needed to build in his reading, something that conventional methods of teaching reading could not. I wholeheartedly recommend Easyread to families who want and need to support their child in developing this essential skill!read more
We are into our third week of this program. So far we have already seen major improvements in concentration, confidence and reading. We were reluctant to do an online program, but it really is very... well rounded and has human support along the way. Easyread has been SO good for my 8 year old and me. He has struggled with reading since Kindergarten and has always been in a reading recovery program. We are 45 days in and he has made more progress... in 45 days than he has since Kindergarten. Before easy read there were lots of tears with homework and reading flashcards, lots of guess and not much retention. Now he is the one asking/begging me if we can do easyread. He loves doing it each day and that is a HUGE weight off this mommas heart. The people at easyread are amazing to talk to and they give SO much support. SO much more than I've ever gotten from the school and that has been extremely helpful for me. I recommend this system it is TOTALLY worth it!!!read more

I was very happy to find out more about what was going on with my daughters reading, all was going well and then she just seemed to get stuck. She would read large words well and make mistakes a lot... on small ones, she would read a word 4 times in a story and hit it on the next page and did not know what it was. Easyread had good resources for me to understand what was going on and I determined that she was Optilexic. We decided to start the free trial and really appreciated all the training and support I received during the 10 day trial. We moved forward with the system and she really enjoys it and I am seeing improvements already in her reading ability and her enjoying and being excited to read.read more
I like the program. it is short, quick and fun...only 15 minutes a day. it makes me feel more confident and proud each day!
My daughter's reading has completely transformed over the last 10 months. When we started, she struggled with the different possibilities for vowel sounds particulaly - it was as if her mind would... go blank. Reading together was painful for us both and usually ended up in tears or an argument. I felt that there was something blocking her and desperately wanted to help her to unblock whatever it was. So i researched dyslexia and stumbled across this program. The free trial was immediately both fun for her and fascinating for me. Using the easyread symbols to represent the different sounds just as they are (ie no tricks, like the irregular rules of phonics) ebabled her to have fun while unconsciously training her mind - I watched her gradually start recognising patterns and becoming more courageous at 'decoding' long and difficult words, using the symbols to help her when she got stuck. She is now reading - and really enjoying - Anne of Green Gables on Easyread!! Her reading outside easyread is also transformed but she is keen to continue with easyread for now, though she knows the plan is gradually to wean her off having the symbols as back up. I'm so pleased for her - it seems to be helping her confidence enormously now she is in year 3 and we both put this down to Easyread. She is a diligent and determined learner- so long as she gets the right encouragement - and Easyread helped me to help her instead of inadvertently knocking her confidence further. The resources for parents to work out what might be the sources of her frustrations with reading were also fascinating and very useful. For example, addressing her eye tracking difficulties - after the easyread team gave her some simple exercises - made a big difference, and I would also praise the team for their support in talking through concerns and doing online sessions. My daughter also has also learned that doing a little every day or most days makes a real difference and this is really starting to pay off for her now in other areas as well. I think she feels it and I am so relieved - this time last year I had a painful sense that her frustrations were affecting her view of her self and what she might be capable of. There is no doubt in my mind that this has been money very well spent and I wish this programme were widely available in schools.read more

Easyread has been life changing for our family! My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia at the end of 4th grade. I was about ready to accept that it just wasn't in the cards for my... daughter to be a fluent reader because nothing had seemed to work. After doing some research about Easyread I decided to go ahead and sign up for the free trial. Though the cost was a little hard for me to swallow at first, we are now 90 lessons in and I can honestly say I don't have a single regret! Finally we found something that works! She is reading fluently, her confidence has grown immensely, and she enjoys getting on each day to do her short (but extremely effective) lesson. As a parent, I really appreciate the check-ins from the Easyread team, the scientific research they teach the parent about what the brain is doing when decoding, and my daughter and I both enjoy the prizes she earns! I highly recommend Easyread!!read more
Easyread has been an amazing journey for my 8 years old boy. He got into the habit of guessing every word and had lost all his confidence in the ability to read any word. We completed 150 lessons and... he is now decoding any word, reading at a good speed and most important got his confidence back. He has enjoyed the games and the length of the program from very short to longer reading part. It has been great to watch him grow his skills! My son is 9 and his reading has been an issue since he started school at age 4. I worried all the time that he'd never learn how and was always Googling to see what other parents did. We've been... homeschooling to try and take the pressure off to help him learn in his own time which was really good for confidence and building up self-esteem separate from measuring himself against the school system expectations. He did learn very basic reading with me, but whenever we did reading practice (most days) there was frequent crying, anger, resistance, a real loathing of reading no matter what stories or fact books or formats we tried. He had a dyslexia tutor for 6 months who was lovely and helped his confidence a lot but we still saw no real progress. I saw a Facebook ad for Easyread about 4 months ago and the flood of positive reviews. Those reviews plus the moneyback guarantee made me give it a shot. Massively glad I did as we have seen brilliant progress and we're only on lesson 92. At about lesson 60 I actually caught him sitting alone reading Captain Underpants. This was insane as I'd never ever seen him read without me or some kind of bribe being involved. He's been reading by himself on and off whenever he feels like it (no pressure from me on this). Last night, he fell asleep clutching some Roald Dahl books. He's reading The Magic Finger and his reading is honestly excellent compared to where he was 3 months ago. The little irregular words are just so familiar that they're fluent now. He's hardly ever getting the wrong line, he's understanding what he's reading and he's quite happy to sit and do it. He works out words rather than blindly guessing them based on the first one or two letters and word length. He's just started back at school 3 days ago and they actually said 'superb reading'. I couldn't believe it. If they only knew how much effort was behind that! His writing though is still very basic but apparently we should see progress around lessons 120-150 on that. Based on what we've seen so far, I'm optimistic. (Also, just a tip I found hugely helpful - audio books are excellent for making sure reluctant readers get exposure to the sort of stories, concepts and vocabulary that fluent readers get.) Best of luck!read more

My daughter loves Easyread. Reading is finally clicking for her! She said, “No one ever taught me how to decode before. I was just trying to memorize words.” My son even declared that he wished... he learned to read with Easyread trainer text! My friend recommended Easyread and it was the best decision! Schools teach “Does it look right? Does it sound right? Does it make sense?” This works for some kids. But for other kids, it encourages guessing and memorizing. Some kids need phonics instruction. EasyRead has been a big game changer for us, we started this summer and just reached the 90 lesson mark. While decoding is our secret language now she is beginning to spell and hear the blending... sounds in a word. Before she used to look at me puzzled as if she couldn’t understand the sounds by sounding out words phonetically. Her reading has improved tremendously, she is currently reading to me Black Beauty from Easyread’s library. The support and encouragement we have received has helped us both . I especially appreciate the parent training at the beginning . It helped me do things like get a current eye exam. It also helped me understand some of what I believed our learning struggles were and even though I thought of testing her for learning disabilities, I was not sure that costly testing would fix our struggles. As she was approaching middle school I saw an advertisement on Facebook and told my husband I wanted to try this program first. As a homeschool parent I am glad we have been able to do this program for her and only wish this had been available when our son was young( he was diagnosed in college with dyslexia and ad/hd we never knew he struggled.) I would tell anyone who is not sure, it is worth the investment for a lifetime of education and reading is the biggest part of learning. Thank you Easyread for all your help and encouragement . Most of all for making reading fun! P.s. My daughter says you get cool prizes giving you something to look forward too!read more

Easyread has been a lifesaver! Our son was struggling at school and his frustration was manifesting itself in violence and aggression, both at school and at home. After two years of watchng our... lovely, imaginative, affectionate boy descending into an unhappy spiral of underachievement, we decided we had to act. I knew that reading had to become fun, not a daily fight to get him to open his reading book, so I did some internet research and we decided to give Easyread a go. It's not cheap, but quite frankly it's been worth every penny; a year on and our son, now eight, is reading independently and fluently, and his sense of self worth and his confidence are fantastic to see. His attitude towards school has changed because he feels able to join in, and he is actively enjoying reading. The Easyread staff were always there at the end of the phone or via email for advice and support, and our son adored getting prizes in the post. Can't recommend it enough 🙂read more
It is a fun instead of frustrating way to help my son read.
My daughter (9) with Down’s Syndrome jumped three grade levels in reading over three months, according to her school’s testing. She looks forward to the daily lessons even now after we have... started back up with school. Her typing and spelling have improved, and even her speech is clearer, maybe because she understands the sounds better - I don’t know exactly, but I have observed that she is much more understandable to others now. We will be continuing past the 90 lesson mark because the Easyread System is creating such a sense of self-confidence and a joy of reading for her. She is reading books on her own for fun and not letting long words stop her - she can “decode” most of them out now without asking. I wholeheartedly recommend Easyread - it is well worth the cost.read more

I came across Easyread’s website one day when I was searching in desperation for something I could do to help my 7 year old read. We had tried everything, reading every night, talking to teachers,... doing every phonics app on the planet and nothing helped. I won’t lie I wondered if the whole thing was a con! But after reading through the theories and seeing that I was ticking all of the boxes that my child does when reading; I thought to hell with it what can I loose. We will do anything for our kids right! From the first lesson William was engaged, he quickly learnt the trainer text character, and understood the sounds they referred to. He loved the games and the structure of the lessons. I was amazed at the progress he made and the speed of it, especially when he started reading out texts on my phone one day! It’s clicked in a way no other method has. I was super impressed that Easyread wouldn’t let you just sign up for the paid lessons without first talking to you via a phone call to determine if the course will suit your child. They check in with his progress and feelings regularly and have even done a remote lesson to check that I am doing everything right. We are now on lesson 60 and it has been an absolute game changer for us. I can honestly say that I wished I had done this years ago. It’s enjoyable to have the 10 minutes a day just us and the trainer text characters, our own little project. Williams confidence is through the roof. This program is really helping my 4th grader. We've tried other reading programs and tutors, and have always been disappointed. So far we are happy with EasyRead.
This system really seems to be making a difference for my son, and he loves it as it's so easy and quick to do each day. The support from the team is second to none. Thank you DM!
Was so glad to find this program for my 7 year old daughter. She had reached a point of pure frustration and was giving up trying to read. When I saw the video it described her perfectly. We tried it... and was surprised at how excited she got about doing the daily lessons. She loves them and gets so excited as she her confidence grows. As a parent the support both by email and phone calls, has been amazing. The easy read team has taken the time to get to know my daughter and help her with her specific challenges. This kind of one on one attention is rare to find these days and well worth it. Highly recommend this program you won't be disappointed.read more
Extremely helpful program for my 7 year old son. Reading and writing was a real struggle for him, but since doing the program has gained skills which help him approach it differently and start to... progress. Using the trainertext as a visual prompt for sounds has helped him to consolidate and sort-out the many sounds in the English language. He is engaged with the format of the short lessons and enjoys receiving the prizes. The support is also wonderful. We have been very impressed with Easyread.read more

This program has been fantastic for my emerging almost 6 year old reader! Even at a young age I was noticing she would guess at words using pictures in books or from the beginning letter of a word. ... Her school teaches phonemic awareness and this program was a great supplement to give her a method and tools to decode words as she is reading them. The support we have received has been fantastic too. It’s very evident this company wants children to succeed at reading!read more

I went through it all with my 8-year old daughter--the tears, the yelling, and the frustration. I stumbled on Easyread on Facebook. I was skeptical but willing to try anything to help my daughter. ... We started the 10 free trial lessons. I printed out the characters and right away I noticed that she is excited about reading again! The concept of Easyread is so different from other methods. She is more confident about reading and looking forward to each lesson. She used to guess the words, and now she decodes. Take a look at the free resources on their website and the YouTube videos, you will know what I mean. Also they offer great support via messages and phone calls.read more

We highly recommend Easyread for any child that is struggling to read, also when not officially "diagnosed" with any learning issues! Our bi-lingual twins were fine in conversational English, but... struggled with reading. We never spent much time teaching then how to read Dutch, but the regularity of it meant they picked that up relatively easily. However, they struggled with English, and the fact they could compare it to Dutch meant they got quite frustrated with the irregularity of the written English with all its different grapheme-phoneme combinations. The trainertext visual phonics has helped them immensely to improve their English decoding and reading skills. The fact it uses the funny characters to represent the different sounds has meant that we could just make it a "family joke" if the sound was spelled in a "weird" way: "those silly Brits again!!"; this helped them to get rid of most of their frustration. Both boys have now gone from being struggling readers in January to loving to read the "Wings of Fire" series novels six months later. They need to work on their fluency still, but I'm sure they will get there soon enough considering they now love reading and pick up those books voluntarily!read more
My 10 year old son used Easyread for 1 year. It was an excellent way to teach him how to decode and keep him from guessing words. He was already a decent reader in many ways, but I realized he... wasn't naturally decoding/sounding out words. He could read difficult words that he recognized by sight, but he couldn't sound out even easy words let alone difficult words he hadn't yet encountered. I happened to see an Easy Read ad on Facebook, and thought, "Yes, this is exactly my child!" The system of giving the readers pictures for sounds and making them decode the sounds to figure out a word helped to retrain his brain to sound out instead of guess. He did not love the program, but he realized it was helping and worked on it with me without a fight. The fact that it was only 15 minutes a day was a huge bonus for both of us. He would have fought me had it not been for the short lessons. We have just concluded our time with Easy Read, and it was worth the expense. He still doesn't love reading, but he now has the ability to read any word he comes across. I am very thankful for Easyread.read more

Prior to DM Easyread, our grade-one child had been struggling with reading—primarily consisting of guessing and memorizing. Even though we were doing extra practice at home and at the school's... reading club, reading was extremely difficult and our child remained unenthusiastic, self-conscious, and resistant. We signed up for the 10-lesson trial and it became apparent in the early lessons that Easyread was something that made sense to our child—the catchy decoding characters, repetition, the short but impactful lessons, and the overall atmosphere of positivity and encouragement. The lessons are extremely well thought out and designed. I appreciate that the games actually have a fundamental lesson embedded into them, rather than being a distracting filler. I also appreciate the simple, clean, organized interface, unlike other programs that might be splashier and colourful but are ultimately devoid of real content. We also find that Easyread's streamlined and focused design creates a better learning platform for our easily-distracted child. We highly recommend Easyread for anyone who is looking for a thoughtful, well-researched, and highly supportive program for their struggling reader. It is a great investment and worth every penny. Thank you, David, Akash, Sarah, and everyone on the Easyread team for your responsiveness and care. We are so grateful that our child is loving reading and taking great pride in his accomplishment, thanks to your wonderful program. Thank you!read more

My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and really struggled with reading, and finding the motivation to read. She was 8 in March when we started easyread, and I wasn't sure what to expect. She is... in special reading groups at school and has had a tutor, and we haven't seen a ton of progress. About a month into starting easyread, she started going into her room to read books because she wanted to. This was huge! She really loves the spy theme, games, and special prizes. She keeps a bag with her spy kit:). I have noticed her confidence around reading, and writing have really improved! She has discovered graphic novels, which she really loves as well. I feel like the conventional methods of learning to read work for some children, but some kids learn differently and need another approach. I am very pleased with the help and support I receive through the program. The easyread team really helps the parent/teacher to help the student and are great at responding. I really would recommend Easyread to anyone looking to help their child with reading!read more
We took the COVID out of school time as an opportunity to start easy read with our 7 year old son. He was really struggling and had lost all confidence in his reading. He has problems with... concentration and he had stopped trying. By about 50 lessons we started to see a real difference in his confidence and ability. Delighted to hear him say ‘I can read now’. The time on easy read is fun and engaging. We stuck to one lesson every day- 7 days a week to keep the routine going. We are finishing at lesson 90 and he has also started stage appropriate ‘normal’ books. Can highly recommend this programme.read more

My 7.5 year old son made more progress in 90 days than he had in the last 3 years. He started only able to read basic 2 and 3 letter words and now reads most text. The visual connection was key for... him and everything dropped into place so his brain could automatically decode. He started off asking 'why' and getting incredibly frustrated that there is so much contradiction. But after he understood its like a riding a bicycle, with practice his brain would do it automatically, he let go of trying to figure out 'why' (who knows 'why' with the crazy English language!). Now he can read, I would like to go past the 90 days to work on his spelling.read more

We homeschool, and have placed reading aloud, together and for fun as a major part of our curriculum. Learning to read individually was supposed to be a fun adventure, but quickly became tedious and... with very little, to no gains. We asked for help from experts, putting to work one after another suggested books, programs and ideas. So many types and styles. And yet, almost no progress. Concerns were rapidly mounting as the pile of what wasn't working grew. Then I came across Easy Read. The 10 trial lessons were hard, but doable, and I seen no loss of progress or stalling out from day to day. I finally have hope for us. We are over three months in, and I see so much progress. Years and years of much harder work did not take us this far before. Now, I can't wait to see what we look like in three more months. Also, I myself have seen improvement with my own abilities as I have helped my child. I want even my already reading children to do at least a month's lessons each, and plan to cover that soon. Thanks Easyread - you have been understanding, encouraging, and such a help. I can not say enough thank you's for your part in making reading fun and easy for my child.read more

My son had trouble with reading and after a couple of years of traditional phonics gave Easyread a try. We had used traditional phonics with three of our other children and it worked great, but with... my son it was very difficult. He really had a difficult time learning to decode, he guessed often and attempted to memorize all his words. Easyread was great in that it really forced him work to decode the words with the characters. He was not able to guess or cheat, he had to decode. He is in the gifted range but had terrible spelling and guessed many words. The games enhanced the enjoyment of the program and he really learned to decode more through them. I really liked the way the program added more difficulty to the training as you achieved higher and higher lessons. We worked through about 200 lessons and they add a really nice writing lab with spelling help. it is worth it to stick with it to the higher levels. The frustration for reading for him has disappeared and he has a stack of books that he is working through. He really loves to read and reads for fun on his own now. He has improved so very much on his testing at school too. We are very thankful for the investment of Easyread into our son. I am sure you will love it as much as we have. Give it a try.read more

I recommend Easyreads to any child that is struggling. My daughter whom is 9 gets excited when she has to do it some days were a struggle will not lie, but i would not let her quit. Lessons are not... long 15 mins out of her day felt shorter some days as you see them getting faster ! She was afraid she would hate it as she does not like reading at all I mean it was a fight to get her to read ! We are now on lesson 54 and the confidence she is showing just makes me so happy I want to cry seriously so happy ! Trust me though it takes commitment! We even did it on vacation to Mexico and she got it done. I see her confidence and excitement now you see the change don’t give up as much as they can have off days get them to lesson 60 she is at 54 and wow today was the game changer reading was so confident and the fluency was so good .I can’t stress enough its is really about putting in the effort can’t let them give up on themselves praise and encouragement throughout the lessons. She had a few days of struggle either she was tired or just didn’t want to do it but at the end of the lesson she was so happy with herself . Her teacher has seen her change as well, they see a happier child whom wants to learn and actually read her books with the teacher. I say that’s huge a change ,as I said before she hated reading so bad that she avoided reading and doing anything at school or she wanted to stay home she gave herself anxiety! I am so happy with this program we will keep going to at least the 90 lessons. I have a Happy Confident little girl whom tells me she doesn’t hate school anymore. She would sound out individual letters and make no connection to the connected sound that a collection of letters makes. She sounds words out slowly and is starting to pick up words with unusual phonetic spellings. She'll pick up a book and try to read it on her own. And she's started spelling words independently. EasyRead is a brilliant solution to the problem that English is not phonetic and there is no logic to the way words are spelt. EasyRead is subconsciously training my children to decode (read) words... accurately, and it is helping them to develop knowledge of the sounds various letter combinations make. EasyRead is the fourth reading program we tried to support my son to start reading. It is the only system that has worked, we absolutely love it. My daughter watched her older brother learning, and she could not resist starting too. The biggest problem we have with EasyRead is that it's only 15 minutes a day - and my kids are keen to do more - especially more games. I feel confident my children will develop into accurate, fluent, efficient readers thanks to EasyRead 👍🙂👍read more
Easyread has been such a fun and interactive program for both my son and I. What I love most, as a parent, is HOW INVOLVED David and Eleanor are. They truly care about each child and fostering the... needs of each specific child. They tailor the lessons and focus on strengthening weaknesses. Parents go through their OWN lessons as well to better understand the program in order to get the best outcome. They always recommend tips, as well. We absolutely LOVE the prizes and the letters that come along with it because they are so positive. Easyread makes learning to read fun overall! Once you get to the book section and only use Trainertext it really does make us feel like special spy agents! My son has learned to read A LOT faster, when before he was struggling to just read short 3-4 letter words. I would recommend EasyRead to any struggling parent who has a child that needs to learn using fun interactive games! Flashcards and re-reading, and writing words were just too mundane for my son and often caused a battle and Easyread took all that away. 10 stars!!read more
This has been a fantastic program to help my 7-year-old with her reading and spelling. When we started she was having a lot of trouble with both but now, at lesson 50, she is getting perfect scores... on her spelling tests at school. Reading is coming along and she is gaining confidence with every lesson. It really helps that she loves to do the program and has fun with the lessons. Everything is made into a game or is fun and she looks forward to it each day. I would highly recommend committing to this program even if you are not sure it will help. For us, it has been a major game-changer and has switched reading and writing from a painful exercise that we both dread to something fun that we do together. Similar to other families that have embarked on the Easyread experience, we are extremely grateful for this program and all the people that make it work so well.read more
We homeschool so we started preschool/kinder lessons, it became evident that he was not making any progress with phonics as a reading tool, He would memorize the words, instead of breaking them down... into sounds. We knew it wasn't working by the time he was 5. So I searched for an alternative. We started the Easyread 10 free lessons, had a phone consult with Eleanor, printed out the Easyread characters and practised eyetracking exercises. Now 18 months later at just over 6, he's reading grade 2-3, ((even text only books) and enjoying the challenge of reading subtitles on TV. He diligently does Easyread every day, claiming its "not schoolwork, Mum, its Easyread" Loves the games, is proud of his progress and never tires of it, due to the 15 minute lockout. Most importantly to us, is the fact that he loves reading and loves books. He listens to audiobooks and gets a kick out of finding and reading the same book in print. (Enid Blyton is a fav)I recommend Easyread to anyone who's child is struggling with reading.read more
This program has helped my 6yo son immensely with his reading and writing and I would highly recommend it to anyone even if you are unsure if it’s right, give it a go. The staff are incredibly... helpful and will advise you on what path to take. The 10 day trial is free you have nothing to lose. It was engaging, the games are fun and the prizes are an exciting addition. Thank you Easy Read team, my son and I will be forever grateful.read more

as a maths and science minded unschooler, my son has not had much interest in learning to read and write and I was never keen to push the subject as he was still young and loves literature so would... learn eventually. But since deciding he wants to go to school I wanted to help him to get to a reading level where he feels confident doing his work. easyread has surpassed my expectations and he is now choosing to read and spell out even difficult words whilst we are out and about. I has no concerns now about his starting school. With the fun format and the continuing support, I've never known a programme like it!read more
Very motivating for my 8 year old grandson who neeeed a boost. improved his reading skills massively and his self esteem. he is now achieving age related expectations for the first time.
Ellie reading to her new stuffed animals, Sea Pig Sally and Shrew (her elephant shrew). Can you tell one of her favorite books in her EasyRead library is Weird Animals? 😂 I asked her what her... favorite part of the program is: “I like reading about Weird Animals and the games are super fun!” As a mom...my favorite part is the DECREASED frustration and the INCREASED confidence. 💗 I had no idea the right 15 minutes a day could help so much.read more
My son did the Easyread program when he was 6. We went from tears to smiles whenever we picked a book. It saved both of us-:) I cant wait to start my daughter next year. Such a great program....
I have been using this system for 6 months now with my two boys. My 10yo with ADHD who hated to read joined a grade level book club in school this year. And my 12yo with ADD, Dyslexia and additional... learning disabilities has gone from reading almost nothing to being able to read simple instructions and math word problems allowing him to better keep up in normal class settings. I really wish this program was available threw our school. It could truly help so many kids. I would recommend it without a doubt. My kids love it!!read more
The whole family loves Easyread. It's given our 11 year old son confidence and the belief that he WILL learn to read, and he is; something no other program or indeed teacher has been able to do. We... have been doing lessons at home and recently he started doing them at school. So now we do a combination of at home and at school. We like the professionalism of Easyread, not only the great reading program, but the fact that they keep in touch constantly. We have telephone conferences with them here in Australia and even that process is simple. We really can't understand why anyone who's having trouble with reading isn't doing Easyread. We've had to pay for many intervention programs and we've had to drag our son all over town, now we can do lessons in our own time at home. We can't recommend it highly enough.read more
My almost 8 year old is dyslexic, we have tried everything school and the professionals recommended but progress was slow and the process was painful. His confidence was rock bottom and he had begun... to hate school. A friend suggested Easyread and the ten free lessons were definitely an incentive to at least give it a try. 70 lessons in and the difference is astonishing. We can’t thank you enough for giving us our boy back and making him enjoy all that reading has to offer.read more
Our child used to avoid reading, he has working memory, auditory processing, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, just to name a few of his daily challenges. But now he will pick up a book... and read a few pages or decode signs when we are out. We have tried so many programs in the past and this is the only one that has worked for our child, his happy to do the lessons. Timer set - its only 15 minutes of our time a day and he has 15 minutes reward time afterwards.read more

The FIRST program that has worked! My son, 9, (high functioning autistic and apraxic) who literally refuses to read because it is so hard asks to read every day! We are only 13 lessons in and can see... improvement and confidence! We are SO THANKFUL and EXCITED for what is to come in the future!read more
This is a brilliant reading program. It has helped both of my children learn to read without tears, in fact they LOVE it! I can't recommend it highly enough - particularly to resistant readers, those... with anxiety or lacking confidence. Especially if traditional methods haven't worked. It isn't too flashy, fast or overwhelming and my kids love David's voice. My daughter, aged 9, went from believing she would never read at a basic level to starting to write her own version of a 'chapter book' within 2 months. The pride in her own accomplishment is priceless. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the material, delivery, and feedback in helping children gain the invaluable skill of reading. Extremely grateful to have found this program!read more
My son is loving this program, it has boosted his confidence and come so far with his reading! So glad we found this program, Highly Recommended!
Really great program. My 7 year old is engaged and enthusiastic about doing it every day which is half the battle but we are also seeing real results quite quickly. Not the cheapest program but... definitely worth the money!!read more
Finally, so lucky to look for such a program that...delivers! We've tried so many methods for our twins but at 13 they were both struggling, diagnosed with dyslexia with some special glasses they... felt bad to wear. May schools and pro had tried to help them, but they only started to put some weight on from tutors giving them lollies as rewards for occasional proper reading guesses. As their little brothers could read fluently at 6 and 5, and they were starting to be unable to follow at school, I was looking for a set of cards to visualize sounds and assist them to catch up with their studies. I thought reading would be the pillar of this path. After a couple of months, spectacular changes. They can read very well, decoding, not "guestimating", and they gain confidence. So much so this is their first quarter ever with lots of positive feedback from their teachers. And we aren't even half way! Thank you so much, it has changed their life at an level i'm not sure you can imagine!read more
Easyread has been excellent so far with our daughter. She is at the expected level for reading for her age, however is reluctant to read and hasn't shown much change in the past 18 months, so we... felt she needed some extra help. When I read about Easyread, it was like it was describing her. She had many ear infections and grommets as a yound child, has never been one to decode, often guessing, not realising when it didn't make sense, confusing/reversing little words but getting the big words, progressed really well in early years and then found it harder when it went to chapter books with minimal pictures and progress tapered off. I cannot speak more highly of Easyread and the results we are seeing already at only lesson 45. She is now wanting to read, is decoding, is realising when it doesn't make sense and going back over it, she even read a 100 page book to me with great fluency and accuracy, and most of all joy, in only a few hours. She can't wait to do her Easyread every day. As the parent, I have found the training offered fabulous and informative and it makes so much sense. There is great support offered via email and phone calls. I actually enjoy the lessons too as it is such a positive and fun approach to reading.read more
A big thanks to Easyread!! My D aged 8 loved reading until she reached yr1 and within a very short time fell behind. Her ability to guess the text from pictures, or from memorizing, no longer... worked and she quickly lost her confidence and became very frustrated and resistant to reading. She is a very bright, creative child, whose visual memory astounds us, but the decoding "button" was broken. She had attended remedial reading classes at school which attempted to teach her the 'rules" of reading - she passed that but did not reach the expected reading level for that year. She still relied heavily on guessing and pictorial clues. We commenced Easyread in the middle of year 2 with the support of her teacher and have just finished the program. This is the first time she has reached the expected reading level in the first semester of school but more importantly, she will now pick up a book and take pride in reading it to us. It is almost like the words are finally jumping off the page for her. If your child is struggling with mixing up letters like b, d and p, reading words backwards, writing numbers and letters backwards and intelligently guessing the text but not getting it right, all despite the best efforts of you and the teachers (this was our situation) then I highly recommend this programme. I wish it was available for all those children missing out on the joy of reading XXread more
My daughter is 10 and dyslexic. Phonics didn’t work for her in key stage 1 and despite a lot of additional support at school, she is still a long way behind her peers. I have been desperate to find... a different approach to reading and Easyread offers this. In all honesty, I was sceptical to begin with. I’m a secondary teacher, so understand the science of learning, but had got to the point when I would give anything a go! Freya has completed nearly 80 lessons and is definitely making progress. She is decoding words using the characters that I know she couldn’t read otherwise. Infact, she can decode the characters into words much faster than me! I’m now referring to the trainer text in other reading which is starting to build connections. I’m still not sure how she will make the leap to no characters, but so far, so good. As a working parent, we do the lessons early evening which isn’t ideal as she is tired. The fact that they are short however means they are achievable. Freya does grumbles sometimes; when reading is such a challenge you become adept at avoiding it! Being exceptionally positive is essential and it’s great to approach them as a team. Going forward, I’m thinking about contacting the Senco at her school to see how the Easyread approach can be used in lessons. Not sure how they will view this but feel we need a co-ordinated approach between home and school. I’ve come to the conclusion the biggest gift I can give Freya is the ability to read fluently. Perhaps Easyread is the solution... the jury is still out. But it’s worth a shot, albeit an expensive one.read more
My daughter's reading has transformed with this programme - and she's really enjoyed it, so no need to push her to do it every day. I really recommend this if your child is having reading trouble -... it may be, like my daughter, that they just don't learn in the same way that phonics is being taught these days in primary school.read more
Love this program! It works and is absolutely worth the money. Initially, I balked a bit at the price but then realized all that we were getting for the money was definitely worth it. The lessons... are fun and engaging and the kids are rewarded not just with a fun lesson but with actual good quality prizes mailed to you at benchmarks in the lesson. This isn't the kind of program that just charges you and then allows you to forget about it. They require significant parental involvement and won't allow you to progress in lessons until you have had a regularly scheduled phone appointment with one of the educators to make sure any barriers to success are being addressed. However, it really doesn't take much time out of your day. They recommend no more than one 10min lesson daily. If you have a child that isn't a natural reader or is "a guesser" as our daughter was, this program is for you. It is a worthwhile investment in your child's academic success.read more
I noticed that my youngest child (7 yr old) didn't pick up reading as quickly and as naturally as her elder siblings. She is quite bright, but was guessing short easy words, or she would get words... right on one page, but wrong on the next. Getting her to read was a struggle, and I would have to bargain with her to get her to read even small amounts. Doing the Easyread program has been fun and engaging and has really built up her confidence in reading and writing. She has come so far since we started. The fun approach and the constant positive validation really works and I could see her really respond to it. She especially loved the games and getting surprises in the mail!read more
My son would absolutely refuse to read out loud because he would make mistakes like saying then instead of ten and get upset when he was corrected. He would also frequently skip words and honestly... just not even see them. Easyread is helping improve his reading skills as well as his visual tracking to reduce guessing and skipped words.read more
After 3 years in school, getting our daughter to read to us was getting harder and harder. She was doing ok, but has such a great memory that she had learnt many words by sight, rather than learning... to blend sounds. She would read difficult words correctly, then skip over or make mistakes with easier words. She hated being corrected, or us offering to help her decode the words, so reading time got more and more frustrating. It would usually involve her mumbling her way through a couple of pages, or us making a compromise of reading many of the pages for her.Seeing the Easyread video made me feel like they were talking about our daughter. I was keen to try the approach and have not been disappointed. Although at almost 8 when starting, it took a while to get her to the level where she was really being tested, she is now much more confident and happier to be challenged. She read a book with me this week and not only made very few mistakes, but was also open to help with decoding, and made no fuss at all throughout the chapter. Although the price seems high, it encourages you to use the system daily which makes all the difference. Well worth the price to overcome a BIG challenge and cause of frustration for all.read more
My son is 8 years old and was very quickly falling being in reading. His school wasn't concerned and kept telling us that he didn't need extra help, he still wasn't catching up though. We’ve just reached lesson 100 and I am amazed by the difference in her reading and the continued improvements. So glad I found this programme
We did this with my 6 year old. He was struggling and guessing lots of words. It really helped. We did the programme for 90 lessons (took us around 4 months) and his reading is so much better and he... enjoys it. He picked up a book and read it independently this weekend. There is list of education and help for parents as well. The team are really supportive.read more
We were lucky enough to start Easyread when my son Dmitry has just turned 6. It was brought to our attention by his teacher that he was several levels behind in his reading and comprehension skills... compared to where he should be for a grade 1 student (he is one of the youngest in the class, but nonetheless). I started to search for ways to help him, and that is when I came across the video where David talks about bright kids guessing words. Sounded just like Dmitry. I showed the video to my husband, and we signed up for the trial the next day. We are now about 5 months into the program and have seen great improvement. Not only does Dmitry read age appropriate books with minimal help, he started to read labels at the stores, dialogues in video games and such. Today we got a call from Dmitry's teacher advising us that he has had another assessment and his reading and comprehension skills are now on par with age standards and he is doing exceptionally well! Truly impressive change in such a short time! We are continuing with Easyread, as he still guesses words at times and I believe improvement will continue. Another benefit of Easyread I noticed was that decoding and sound blending skills are transferrable to another language. Dmitry is regularly exposed to a second language, I tried to teach him reading before but it wasn't clicking. Tried again about 3 months into Easyread and he is now easily putting sounds into words! Easyread has been easy to follow; it was a bit of a time commitment in the beginning due to parent training but after that 15 minutes a day is all it takes. I do find the lesson goes smoother when Dmitry is not tired but even after a busy day at school we can still find the time and energy to do it. He gets very excited when he gets messages from David and prizes in mail. This has been well worth the money, and such a great help for full time working parents. Thank you Easyread!read more
Our daughter was very reluctant to read and it had become a bit of a battle, whilst others in her class seemed to be embracing it and advancing. Easyread made it more fun and became a routine that... was much easier to maintain. The reading section was initially longer than the intended 15 minutes, but this got shorter in time and her progress has been great. We have been very happy with the programme and she is now more able and willing to start reading other texts. Thanks to all those involved!read more
My DD is on lesson 8 of the free trial and I would be insane not to continue. It has been that effective. I do have to say. When I looked into your program and was convincedBut to no fault but my... own I misread your pricing. I was heartbroken. But I will do whatever I need to do to for Charlotte to continue on. At least for a few months. Your system is positively impressive. I’d recommend it to anyone with a child who is struggling. As a homeschooler, sometimes we need help. If, I had not found something that had worked I would have been forced to send my DD to school for just one area she struggled in. To me, that justifies the price. This program offered a 10 lesson program with No credit card required and they sent my DD rewards. She was so happy and wanted to do more lessons. That is huge!! Thank You Easyread! Cannot wait to officially become a member. We are just finishing our last two lessons first.read more

I had three struggling readers. We had been doing Barton Reading and Spelling, which is a wonderful program, but intense. We got through book 5 and my kids were struggling to remember and incorporate... all the rules in every day life and I was burning out tutoring for three hours a day. We had to take a break. I decided to give Easyread a shot because it's only a 15 minute a day commitment. The kids absolutely LOVE the program and remind me to do it with them every day. At first, I couldn't imagine how any of it would help but I was willing to stick with it because the kids loved it and looked forward to it. Well, something is clicking. We aren't done with the program but suddenly, my dyslexic 13 year old son is voluntarily reading things. Just two months ago he would avoid restaurant menus, recipe instructions, and even video game dialogue. Today, he is naturally reading those things. Is he picking up books for fun? Not yet BUT he isn't avoiding reading like the plague. Things seem to just naturally be changing. I have high hopes for even more progress as the days continue and that this will be our answer to finally have natural, easy readers. Thank you, Easyread!read more

We had our parents evening in July last year, our daughter would be starting Year 2 in September and would turn 6 in the August. Her teacher put her hands up and said she no longer knew what to do as... our daughter had completely closed off and had a reading level of a reception child.I was horrified to say the least. So, in the summer I did some research and found the Easyread system. We started the course in September and today she achieved level 5! She reads signs, posters, shop names - the lot. She even picks up books and reads them without hesitation. What’s more impressive is her confidence which had gone through the roof. Any parent experiencing the same issue with their child, give it a go - it’s amazing and I would highly recommend.Thank you so much Easyread, I can’t thank you enough!read more

Our child just "graduated" from EasyRead. In 126 lessons we took our 3rd grader from severely struggling on 1st grade material, reading 46 wpm at 90% accuracy to a school report coming home today... that she's on 3rd grade material decoding correctly with a cold read score of 91 wpm with 100% accuracy and is doing hot score re-reads near 139 wpm. AMAZING PROGRESS!!We can't thank EasyRead enough for changing our frustrated, discouraged language at home over reading into positive, motivated language, empowering me with the correct tools to help my daughter progress, providing a visually fun and encouraging program for my child to learn on, and rewarding both of us every step of the way!!!We are forever grateful!read more
Reading had been an unpleasant experience before. Our 6 yo son could easily memorise simple words but would get stressed and upset at unfamiliar words so any new book would end up with him in... tantrums to avoid it. We wanted to make reading a pleasant experience instead and Easyread certainly made the whole process much more smooth and fun. They assisted with troubleshooting even before problems became apparent to keep him engaged and interested. So yes, it seems like commitment and work, especially when you start out, but after less than 90 lessons (about 3 months), his reading and writing have progressed to the point where he is interested now to do this independently. Other than the initial learning modules at the start to assist with learning the process, after this, it was really just 15 minutes a day...well worth it!read more

Having already notched up 90 lessons (taking about 3-4 months) on easyread, things are looking good! My child's reading was full of guesses and had no fluency. Easy words were routinely misread ((on,... no, for, from, and, the). easyread forces the child to become accomplished at decoding and blending at speed in order to read a word, rather than guess whole words from the context. This has made reading much more accurate and fluent. Visual props (cartoon characters) connecting sound and the written word provide extra scaffolding than pure phonics on their own, and particularly suit the more visual (rather than auditory) learner. I understand the next set of lessons will start to work on spelling - I can't wait for the same improvements there as I've seen in reading!read more

Easyread created a new learning platform for our 9 year old son. Conventional learning to read methods at school had only got him to a basic level, from which he was struggling to progress. Once into... his Easyread lessons the turn around was incredible. His progress and confidence grew rapidly. Now he is voluntarily picking up books and reading to himself - something we still find surprising considering how much he told us he hated reading just a short time ago. Easyread not only taught my struggling 8 year old how to read, it gave me the tools to help her be successful. After trying multiple programs we ended most reading lessons in tears. My daughter was... very stressed out and I was out of ideas and patience. The training Easyread gave me, allowed me to understand and support my daughter and her dyslexia. The process was simple and because it's only 10-15 minutes a day we both stopped dreading the lessons. It took us 9 months to get through the program, but she did it and is reading! It is still hard, but Easyread has given her the tools to succeed. It took the stress out of the learning process. I also appreciated the incredible support from the Easy Read team. From the personal phone calls, to checking in with emails, I never felt that there was a question too silly to ask. The simplicity of the lessons, support and results made cost worth every penny. Carter has been struggling with dyslexia for years. The school system absolutely failed him; he was going into grade six and could not even read the children's menu at a restaurant. I asked One Kids... Place, Hands, the Catholic School Board, etc for help with my son. None were willing/able to help. I asked online for any kind of tutoring help. Nothing. I researched and researched and all I could find was information on how the government doesn't recognize dyslexia separately from other LD's and, therefore, will not fund the boards to train teachers how to properly teach a dyslexic child. A couple of months ago, I happened to be doing more digging and I found this EASYREAD program by David Morgan. I watched some videos, read the information on the website and decided to give the 10 free trial a try. Carter is now three months into the program and he is actually READING! I wholeheartedly recommend this program. It has changed so much for both my sons. When we began our journey into EasyRead last March, my eldest son was frustrated to tears each night when we did... reading practice. Logan is an emotional kid with specific learning needs and his anxiety was so high about going to school that he shut down emotionally and struggled to learn anything. Easyread turned that around and helped him discover and share his true self, at home and at school. Within 10 lessons he was excited about reading practice and asked to do it straight away when we got home each day. After 30 lessons he told me that school was kinda fun sometimes. Over the summer months when kids typically fall back a bit in their learning he catapulted ahead and went from 2 years behind in his reading to matching his grade level expectations. He is now happy to go to school and his teacher describes him as a 'voracious reader who can't get enough of stories and books.' Not only that, he has begun writing his own stories and sharing them with his class! Logan will always be an intense and sensitive learner but it turns out that a huge factor in his anxiety was his inability to read. After 2 months of watching his brother play cool games and get awesome spy prizes in the mail, my second child begged me to start him in EasyRead. Alex has hugely benefited from this valuable program. For fun these days, my kids read plays aloud in silly voices and make costumes out of bedclothes.... they take so much joy reading together and I am so grateful! THANK YOU EASYREAD!read more

Super pleased with the progress my daughter is making since starting Easy Read! The activities are engaging and motivating - she loves it.The 1:1 support is excellent. Highly recommend!
This is a great program. It made reading and spelling fun for my daughter.

We've been using the system for about 63 lessons with our 11 yr. old, who has also tried All About Reading, Barton, and other phonics intensive programs. We have seen him starting to make some... quicker progress in reading over the last few months. I know some of that could be age, and he also works with a private tutor, but there are some things that I know are attributed to easyread. His confidence has increased because of their encouragement and the prizes. Also their customer service is EXCELLENT. I have a kid who has HATED reading lessons, and they were a constant struggle. But with easyread, he NEVER complains about doing the lessons, and was actually really interested in the virtual "books" he was reading on the program. They have stuff like, "World's Coolest Cars," complete with pictures of the cars after the reading is done. He was very motivated to keep going with that book. I haven't seen a ton of reviews for older kids, but I am pleased with the program, and how he's progressed. We are going to stick with it for awhile to work on building fluency.read more
So far, absolutely exactly what my dyslexic 8 year old needs! From the first photo to the second in 26 lessons! Reading used to induce tears and frustration. Only a few days after starting easyread,... he started bringing a book to bed, a very simplistic book but a book (Usbourne Beginners Science). After 2 weeks he started to want to attempt a chapter book (he chose “Flat Stanley”). He could only read about 2 pages before getting tired. But last night, after just lesson 26, he read 6 pages!!! His stamina and motivation are improving. It is just baby steps, but progress just the same. I can only imagine how much progress we’ll have seen after 90 lessons. I can’t wait. Just the fact that he actually wants to read now and there are no more tears makes me so happy. He also told me that reading in class is starting to feel easier. I’ve also noticed he skips fewer words, makes fewer mistakes and is attempting decoding longer words without getting upset.❤️read more

Easyread worked wonders for my daughter! We tried all sorts of programs, she received extra help at school and even repeated 1st grade. At the beginning of 3rd grade, she was still reading on a... first-grade level. We started Easyread and used it throughout the school year. By the end of the year, she was reading on grade level and showed incredible progress on her end of the year school testing! We are so thankful for Easyread and all the help we received!read more

Children learn in different ways and all those ways should be available to them. We are so grateful to have finally found an effective way of teaching Carter to read and spell. Even when the school... system discovered what kind of learner Carter was, the best they could offer him was one on one learning not a teaching method that correlated to his learning style. This continues to cause him to feel isolated and inadequate and his self esteem continued to deteriorate. Easyread began correcting all of these issues with in the free 10 lesson trial! It was like having our little boy back. He quickly picked up the characters and sounds. He loves playing the games and challenges himself to beat his high scores. He comes to us to do his lessons everyday. No more tears and frustration. And the tools or golden rules as easyread calls them, have been useful in all areas of Carter's learning. With short, fun lessons he grasps information without getting bored or distracted. And the constant positive feedback and encouragement has given him confidence again. He believes in himself and isn't afraid to read anymore, even when it's a challenging word or sentence. The phone conferences and Skype meetings and emails; there was always support. We live in America but it never felt like we were in another country, seperate from easyread. Carter couldn't wait to get his letters from David and his prizes. We could never thank easyread enough!read more

It's an amazing programme, building skills and confidence using fun games and activities. We love it!
A really fantastic program that has facilitated my son's innate interest in learning and allowed him to venture into the world of reading with confidence. The decoding is so crucial to learning to... read, understand, hear and decipher bigger words with more complex sounds and children learn so much more when it's fun. I was delighted to watch my son, who was not interested in wanting to read for a while, also partially due to the racial bullying and lack of support at school, actually ask to do easyread every single day. The inputs and dedication shown by David and his team are incomparable and it's so great to receive that personalised attention and care. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for Arian.read more

The program described my son to a tee-a guesser. By teaching him to decode in a fun, stress-free, engaging way, his reading has flourished beyond my expectations!
We discovered the reading curriculum provided at school was not suited to a visual learner and had a hunt on to find something to substitute the learning, as a result our child was behind the level... other kids were at because he effectively began late once he got onto the EasyRead system. We were in a position where we needed help and then we read David's claims on what the system can do, at this time you are hopeful, although skeptical as you aren't sue what will help the child. We found the system to be fun, educational and what our child needed. Davids claims were in fact exceeded in our case as our child often hit improvement levels before the point David said to expect them. Most importantly this bought our childs self-esteem up to a level consistent with peers as he was no doubt stressed that he could not read the readers he first got at school before using Easy Read and was aware his parents expected him to be able to read them & was aware that his classmates were able to read this also. The most pleasing aspect is now as Im texting or Im walking down the street my son will read things aloud just out of his own curiosity.I am SO thankful this system was developed and I would say there is an immeasurable difference to his life. There are not enough superlatives to describe the joy it has brought us.read more

Highly recommended! Due to our busy schedule we do our Easy Read lessons before school every morning. Tyron is always happy to do the lessons. He has grown in his confidence and abilities and we are... thrilled that we decided to give this a go. The lessons are short, fun and effective! I am also very impressed by the support we receive eventhough this is an online program. The emails to check in are helpful and the phone calls have been informative and very much appreciated. Tyron loves receiving his prizes in the mail. Just so much to love about this program. Thank you!!read more
Before Easyread, reading was the worst part of our day - full of tears, stress and headaches. Even though my son had completed vision therapy for tracking and convergence, he was still guessing at... nearly half of the words on the page and could not sound out new and longer words at all. Starting this system, I was definitely skeptical, but after doing all of the excellent parent training videos, it was clear this approach is effective, well-informed and esteem boosting for kids. Soon, my son was asking to do Easyread first thing in the morning and was disappointed that he could only do 1 lesson per day! Now, he is an avid reader of 200+ page chapter books and I have to sometimes ask him to take a break from reading. I cannot possibly rate this program highly enough. It has been a game changer in my son's reading and schoolwork, and has also turned around his frustration with writing and spelling. Also, the staff support was huge help for me. Everyone who works at Easyread was supportive, caring and ready to help.read more

We have been using Easyread since late March. William is now 9. He had struggled with his speech when he was younger. We did 3 yrs of speech therapy. He loves books and for us to read to him, he... doesnt like to read because its so challenging. I have tried several expensive reading programs, the reading specialist at school couldn't pinpoint Williams issues, so I have home schooled him for 2 years. It was one of the homeschooling moms in our group that told me about Easy Read They actually work with your child's abilities and see where the struggles are- then develop a plan to tackle it- I think the pictures with the phonetics is genius.William has gone from Pre-K to end of 1st grade level in 3 months! My son Luca now 10 years old is dyslexic! He started seeing a speech pathologist when he was three as he had a stutter. Six months after starting junior school, Luca's teacher raised concern as... Luca's learning had hit a wall. As parents it was extremely overwhelming and we wanted to do everything we could to help our son. We enrolled Luca back into costly speech pathology, saw a Behavioral Optometrist and struggled through various techniques, exercises and tests. Luca is a beautiful little boy and his daily struggle was effecting his confidence and he was aware of how far he was behind all of his friends. Homework was always a fight and Luca would cry out of sheer frustration. My sister told me about Easyread as it had helped her neighbours son. I looked into it and we tried the free trial. I asked my son's school teacher to have a look and let me know what she thought of the program and her response was that she was concerned it would confuse Luca. That comment was the confirmation I needed to sign Luca up to Easyread as the way they were teaching him at school was not working. I stopped all specialist appointments and dedicated 15 minutes a day to Easyread. Luca school reading before Easyread was marked as a 7 year old a year after starting Easyread, Luca is now reading as an average 10 1/2 year old! His confidence has improve and he smashes out his homework everyday happily. We read every night now and he decodes using the skills that Easyread has taught him. Parents, if you are reading my review, please sign up this program and way of teaching actually works! Easyread changed my son's life and am confident it will change your child's life too. I signed up for Easyread with my son after seeing the video on Facebook of David explaining the program. He described my son perfectly...his difficulty with sounding out words and particularly... spelling. Since starting Easyread my son has been forced to change the way he reads. Rather than rely on a HUGE sight word library, he now looks at the letters and sounds that make up the word and can 'decode' words that he doesn't know. His spelling has also improved. Most importantly, though, he's actually WILLING to try to read new and harder words. It's been a HUGE improvement for him and we're looking forward to the continued help it is meant to provide with his spelling. So thank you to the Easyread team. We're very happy customers.read more

Our 12 yr old daughter could barely read before she started this program 9 months ago. Nothing else worked. It is worth every penny!
I can not praise the Easyread system highly enough, it really has been a revelation for our son who up until recently found everything about reading a daunting experience. Phonics and blending and... all he encountered in the first two years of school seemed to have just missed the mark, leaving him so frustrated and demoralised- feeling like he was too far behind to even contemplate catching up. It got so bad that he began to refuse to even open a book despite us reading with him every night since birth. Then one day a video for the Easyread system popped up on Facebook and I immediately recognised all the issues we had been facing with our son, the guessing, the skipping words, the difficulties that had been there from day one. There was nothing to lose. We tried the ten day trial and he was immediately hooked- the daily games online were fun and he could see real progress in himself almost straight away. His confidence grew as the days went by and now, at day 68, he’s flying along, reading books about space and the evaporation of gasses! He’s reading everything he can get his hands on, soaking it up like a sponge, and his teachers are amazed by his quick progress in such a short space of time. The knock on effect on his writing is profound, so much so that his school have asked me to show them the system so that other struggling children might benefit. I could go on.. but the long and short of it is, if your child is facing a brick wall with traditional methods, don’t hesitate to get your child on this programme. It takes commitment from you as well as your child but the results are so worth it. Simply brilliant.read more

My son is the typical kid who doesn't like to read. He really loves Math but finds reading boring. As a result, he really struggled with decoding words and was just plain guessing at spelling in... school. And we have been reading to him since he was a baby, every night before he goes to sleep. We tried to encourage him to read more, finding topics that he liked, but it nothing seemed to make improvements. And since he is in 1st grade, spelling, reading and writing were getting more and more challenging.I then Googled new reading methods and found Easy Read online. I loved that it is based on games. John Robert really liked it from the beginning, and he kept at it. The best part is that John Robert asked to do the lesson each night. It only take 10 minutes but really starts to take effect.Within 100 days our son went from C level reading to H level reading and his teachers are amazed at how fast he progressed.Forget site words and trying to memorize the words, EasyRead teaches how to decode words in seconds. Great method. It's fun, it keeps the kids attention, and it just plain works. Give it a try.Great job EasyRead.read more

My 7 year old son started easy read in February and has not turned back ever since.Teaching him to read had been a battle I had faced for the past 3 years. At the beginning of year 2 ,he was a level 1... reader.Despite lot of help from school, his confidence was very low with regards to reading and it was a big hinderance as he couldn’t answer his math and English qns in his workbooks due to inability to read and that affected his academics.Upon desperate search I found easyread and I knew my son was a visual reader,so without second thoughts I enrolled him,in April he jumped to level 5 and now level 7..he is now in lesson 79 ,his confidence level has soared high and he even reads books with 20 pages in one shot now.Easyread is nothing but a miracle programme..great support from the staff. My son brought a book from his school library for the very first time yesterday and I am speechless, still a long way to go but I am sure he ll make it with the help of easyread!highly recommend!read more
For the first time, my son is now above grade in his reading level. I directly attribute his success this year to his time with Easyread. We started in October and now will be winding down. This is a... wonderful program, very convenient, using positive techniques and fun games. My son can now decode fluently and his spelling is improving day by day. I cannot thank Easyread enough. I happened to see an ad on FB for it, and am so happy I did because it really has changed our lives. For the record, I have considered private tutoring, which would be vastly more expensive than Easyread. I'm so glad I found Easyread! My 8-year-old son was struggling to read and ended up basically repeating 1st grade. His 2nd-grade teacher spent a lot of time working with him. He would guess words so... much and he hated to read because it was so hard for him. We had him tested for dyslexia and that was not the problem. He is the youngest of seven and most of my other children LOVE to read. To make a long story short I began to look for information and in the process found Easyread. One of the things that made me give it a try was that he could try it for 10 days free. He loved it right away and I felt like this may help him, and decided we'll keep going and do a paid subscription. I'm so glad I did! The staff is helpful and personal and it feels good to have someone with experience helping us on this journey. He has made lots of good progress and most of the time he is right ready to do his Easyread lesson and doesn't complain in the least. He likes the "games" and I like that he is learning so much! My daughter (9) started easyread last August, (8), and she has made huge improvements with her reading!!! She always had a love for books, but since kindergarten, has really struggled. We ruled out... different learning disabilities like dyslexia. We tried other programs; And I would ask advice from her teachers so she could practice at home. Her scores were always low. At the end of 2nd grade, she was only on a 1st grade level in reading. I was worried for her. I knew that if something didn't change, reading and school work was going to be a struggle for her. That's when I happened upon Easyread. When I watched the video, I felt like the guy is the video was talking to me specifically about my daughter. What he explained was exactly what she was doing, like memorizing and guessing. I signed up immediately for the free 10 lessons. I swear those short lessons, as simple as they were, made a difference. So much so, that I decided to give the program a shot. I'm so, so glad I did. My daughter has improved leaps and bounds. She loves the lessons. She comes home from school every day and goes straight to the lap top for her lesson. And what's best for me is when we read together at night, I can listen to her without having to correct her as often or at all! I am so proud of her and she is so proud of herself. I have been so impressed with the Easy Read system! In October, my 7 year old daughter was presenting all of the classic signs of dyslexia (my husband is severely dyslexic so we knew what to look out... for) and her teachers were becoming increasingly concerned. Her teachers said she was a bright child, but she was quickly falling further behind her peers. Fast forward 6 months and she is a different child! Her reading is now fluent and confident (no more constant sounding out!) and she has discovered a real love for writing stories - something she didn’t have the confidence to do before! They recently held a sponsored spell in her school, and her entire class were given the same list of spellings to learn. My daughter got every single spelling right! I cannot believe the difference in just 6 months! I realise it’s not the cheapest option, but in my opinion it is well worth the money! I have recommended it to so many other parents and would not hesitate to come back to the system if I feel she needs more support in the future! I only wish it had been around when my husband was younger - he had a really hard time in school struggling with his dyslexia and it really knocked his confidence - I can’t help but feel he would have had a completely different school experience had Easy Read been around back then! I cannot praise David and the team highly enough!read more

We recently moved from France, where my son attended public French speaking school, to the U.S., his native language. Jumping into the middle of an American Kindergarten experience was a huge shock... for him and, frankly, he shut down and completely quit showing interest in learning to read. When we began EasyRead at 6 year old, his progress in school was both immediate and steady. He had the expected dips and surges with the program, but he continued steadily climbing reading levels beyond his teacher's satisfaction. He started his first grade year testing as a Pre-emergent reader; he is now on track to finish first grade on-grade level. Easy Read helped us to identify and address eye-tracking issues, and it gave my son a visual set of tools that he was able to immediately put to work for him. My 8.5 yr old hated reading and was starting to feel that she was not able to learn as well as other children. I know she is very able, but the phonics methods which had worked for 5 of my children... before her just weren’t getting it done for her. It seemed as if she could read some things, and then would be completely stumped by a simple three letter word. When I saw an ad for EasyRead, the description fit her situation perfectly. The free trial was fun and encouraging for her, and she was excited for the first time ever about practicing reading. The rewards and prizes were thrilling to her, and it was clear that this was a good program for her because her confidence was growing daily. The phone support is amazing! It confirms that the program is meeting her needs, and it provides feedback on how we’re doing, plus ensuring that were using the system optimally . Eye-tracking issues were detected by the system and addressed specifically. In the first phone meeting, I said that my greatest goal was for her to pick up a book voluntarily and read for fun. We’re 30 lessons in, and last week, I heard her reading aloud in her room. She was reading ‘The Giving Tree’, which we had never read together, and really understanding the story. This system has transformed her from a child who believed she was failing into an eager and enthusiastic reader. The key to her education has been turned in the lock. I am thrilled and truly grateful!read more

HiMy daughter started on easy read when she was 8 1/2. She was reading at kindergarten level and hated anything to do with reading. We did quite a bit of assessment to find out what was holding her... back and found out that she was very visual learner. I started to research about how to help kids that are struggling with reading and are very visual learners and i came across the easy read program. While my daughter was having her first 10 free lessons I started to use the parent section of the program about how the program works. I am in medical field and the way they explained the program how it works in the brain to learn to read...it just made sense to me. During the 10 free lessons i also noticed that there was no struggle with my daughter about having to practice reading , she was actually excited to do it. Given all that I decided to give it a try... we did 94 lessons when I noticed huge improvement in her ability to decode words, one day we went to bookstore to pick up some presents and she just picked up a book and started to read it!!! I have to say it was easy book but this has never before happened where she would read the words in book rather that just looking at pictures. I cried right there in the book store!!! We did few more lessons after that but given the $ the program costs I canceled before the next month billing as I figured it did what it is supposed to and now we just build on from this... i will recommend this program to anyone who has a child struggling with reading.read more

The difference is astonishing: he can read and spell fluently and no longer avoids reading and writing tasks. His attitude and self esteem have improved immensely. In short I believe Easyread has changed not just his learning outcomes but his life !!!! (and mine !) We just received his latest report card and he is now reading at level and his teachers are raving about his vast improvement!read more

We had tried so many different programs before easy read. With Easy read my son always looks forward to his lesson and we are now on 48 . I see his confident has improved no more soft voice reading... or guessing . He selected books for his grade level to read now . I am so proud of his hard work. The prizes he has earned are great . He shares with the family the jokes from the lessons. Staff are very helpful and are there to provide any help we may need. Very pleased with the program.read more
