So far so good, reading with the Easyread characters works really well. So far I would 100% recommend the Easyread system. The biggest gain so far is his confidence during the lessons. Normal reading there is definitely an improvement, be it quite small at this stage....

Hamish is finding reading easier and not becoming worried and stressed out by it. In fact today he did fighter mission without needing me to confirm with him whether the word was correct before he tried to hit it and didn’t throw a big strop when he got one...
