Hi Sarah, David, Laura and all at Easyread,
It is not exaggerating to say that you have made my year! To have been able to access a program that is so effective and is building not only literacy skills but self-esteem and confidence through success built on effort is wonderful. So often these children (not to mention their parents and teachers !!) are trying so incredibly hard, but the rewards are very slow in coming, very hard-won, and feelings of self-worth can be damaged along the way.
Thank you for the letters too, which have helped some of the children as they come to bumps in the road, and made them feel connected and part of a wider community who care and are there to help them.
Have a lovely Christmas and a well-deserved break (if you are lucky enough to have one!).
