The Times Educational Supplement has recommended use of primary-level phonics to help low-attaining secondary students.

This is wonderful news for us here at Easyread, as it confirms our current approach in the secondary setting. We are currently running a large pilot trial at the Cherwell School in Oxford, and so far, the results have been very encouraging!
These struggling readers need a back-to-basics approach that re-teaches them what they may have missed in early educational years.
