Charlie Burgin is an electronica music creator from California who goes by the cryptic name Sahy Uhns.
Nobody can pronounce it… and Burgin gets a kick out of that because he is dyslexic.
“I’m severely dyslexic,” Burgin confesses…So one of his goals in choosing the name — which, by the way, is pronounced “science” — was “imposing dyslexia on everyone else.”
His music is a blend of digital soundscapes, dance beats, and scientific experimentation. He often uses broken or ancient equipment to create unique sounds that no other recording artist can produce with their more cutting edge technology.

This is very inspiring! And we have those same monitor speakers in our studio at home here, as well! I’m going to look him up. Always glad to hear of more dyslexics who are able to confront their challenges positively and well!
