1) Ryan would get very frustrated and not even try when asked to read. He had no confidence at all. He avoided reading completely. Homework was a real struggle.
2) Easyread was a good fit for him because he it was fun and he got immediate verbal praise (as well as prizes in the mail). His confidence built up right away and he became proud of himself.
3) I am so happy for him. He does his homework without a fight and even grabs books and wants to read on his own! He is very confident now in and out of school. He has become a good speller too.
