How Kids’ Chores Lead to Success in Life

In the Harvard Grant Study, a 75-year-old social research project that is still ongoing, sociologists have pinpointed two keys to success in life:

  1. Love
  2. Work ethic

And how did that vital second key to sucess most often get instilled in the children that the study followed? In every case, it boiled down to something incredibly simple — having to do regular chores when they were growing up.

So the next time your son or daughter whines about doing a little housework, just remind them…. it’s proven! Taking out the trash will help you win at life!
