Famous Dyslexics: Actor/screenwriter Justin Theroux

Actor and screenwriter Justin Theroux is known for his work on Iron Man 2, Zoolander 2, Tropic Thunder, and more recently as an actor in the popular HBO series The Leftovers. He is married to Jennifer Aniston. And he has recently given an interview discussing his reading difficulties and dyslexia.

He partially credits his dyslexia with the development of his screenwriting talents: “When you’re dyslexic in school, you develop other talents. One of the things that I discovered quickly was a gift for gab, a way to talk myself out of why I didn’t do my homework.”
