The main difference I have noted with Awena is her belief that with work, she will be able to read as well as other children in her class. Before starting Easyread she seemed to think that she would be able to find her way through education without reading, and that she would probably always do poorly.
Overall she is enjoying the Easyread sessions, and I am pleased that the lessons have stayed at a similar level of difficulty for a significant period of time so that Awena now thinks that the lessons are ‘easy’ which has provided her with a real confidence boost. Reading that’s easy?!
