I will also let you know that Sophie has received her Naplan results – which are very controversial in Australia – but we are very, very happy with her results. She has achieved above both the school and national average for her age in reading, persuasive writing and numeracy. She is way below on spelling and grammar, but we are slowly working on those areas as well so hopefully we can help her with those. It is great to see that the efforts she and her support team (Mum, Dad, Brother, Tutor and teachers) have made are paying off for her.
