“After what seemed like a shaky start in terms of assessment this year, we had Arlo’s student conference on Tuesday, and his teacher is amazed at the progress he has made in his reading.
His fluency in reading out loud has improved so much! She also had to test him 4 times (going up a level each time) when trying to determine what level he was at.
I wish that we had started Arlo on this programme when he was 8 or 9, instead of 12. But better late than never – he has improved SO much!
He’s so confident in his reading, he really enjoys it and he feels really good about himself!
