First, no more dragging Scott to the computer to do his reading lessons. He was doing ClicknKids before and I would have to bribe him to sit there and finish his lesson. Not so with the Easyread. He thinks its fun.
Next, today Lesson 6, he had several words he never saw before (wasp, bottles, lips, flag). At first he pronounced wasp with the Long A…and then he noticed the octopus up top and self-corrected! yay! He’s never done that before in his life! Did the same thing with the word “bottles”.
Finally, no more tears. He used to cry and get frustrated if he would get a word wrong. Now with the games he takes it in stride and tries to beat the computer game.
