I had a parent/teacher meeting with her teacher and she is on a special education plan (small group help with reading only) so that teacher was there also. They both said they do not worry about Jewlie at all. She falls right in the middle of the classroom. She is at grade level. The Special Education teacher said if I had asked for testing this year she would have fought it as it would not be needed as shown by her grades.
Any strategies she has learned from both this program and the special education she is getting in the classroom have worked.
She is reading more clearly, easily and with better fluency.
