Being the school holidays we’ve had a couple of days away, but other than that Andrew has been doing his lessons every night. I am so pleased with his general progress, he now makes an attempt to read everything and his accuracy at decoding is getting a lot better.
His school have monthly spelling tests and for the first 2 years, prior to his dyslexia diagnosis, Andrew’s consistent score was just 4/25. About 4 weeks after starting Easyread, he achieved 15/25. Then, two weeks ago, he got 100%.
When I enrolled him in Easyread I never dreamed he could do this, but he also scored for a high IQ on his psych ed test and I now believe all he needed was the right style of teaching to unlock his potential, and Easyread provided the springboard for this.
