Her school teachers have even commented that she has noticeably improved. I overheard her telling her sisters that she could play a game with them “because I can read”. It made my heart melt to hear her say that. For so long she’s said I can’t read. I love that her attitude is changing. She voluntarily chose and read The Cat In The Hat last week. It took her a long time and we helped her sound out the words she had trouble with but it was exciting to see her wanting to read for pleasure.
