I would like to confirm that there has already been a noticeable improvement in Nathan’s reading – he is more confident and actually asks to read more for homework than I set for him! As mentioned before, he tended to guess words (he doesn’t do with the programme – think the readings are short enough), which he is doing far less of now.
We do the Easyread exercises in the morning before school and they only take a few minutes. This helps us not to forget to do it and also does not make him feel like he has additional “homework” in the afternoon.
Nathan enjoys the computerised format and the games at the end.
