My son David was diagnosed with dyslexia…
My son David was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 6yrs when he was still strongly struggling with the alphabet…..all I can say is that today at 8years 8 months he has a reading level, according to BAS tests recently carried out 2 weeks ago by my educational psychologist, of an 8year 5 month old boy in English…just 3 months behind what he is expected to be….
It is true that in our native tongue Maltese his level needs to improve further since he is 12 months behind, but this is because we are English speaking at home and we give much more importance to him grasping one language solidly….and for this as parents we have no regrets….
So how did this happen and how did my son David improve so much over 3 years….definitely thanks to a lot of support at his school with his teachers and at home by myself his mum….However, definitely I must give MOST CREDIT to the easy read system…as a mum of 3 boys, David is my eldest and I knew absolutely nothing about dyslexia being a professional coming from the medical field…However my thirst to learn further about the subject and help my son in the best way possible, led me to search knowledge everywhere and through Google, 3 years ago I came across the Oxford Learning Solutions….I never had heard of them before and I seem to be one of the earliest customers to have given them faith and credit but believe me, I AM NOT SORRY FOR ONE SECOND….money spent with them is blessed by the cent…the fee I whole heartely paid because next to other fees for special books and similar services it cost nothing…besides, very importantly, included in the annual subscription is an excellent daily feedback service….extremely efficient in answering any difficulties as you go along…David the author, to my knowledge is dyslexic himself and through my personal experience now, the people who understand dyslexia most are the dyslexics themselves…my son’s best teachers have always been dyslexic themselves and they were the ones to help him most….
Like surely David the author has, my son has exceptionally high IQ so this helps them go around their problem easily, especially if they are given the right help and this is what Easy Read system gave him….that help he needed to succeed…..this led him to the achievement of such super results today…
My son is an A grade student in most subjects like Maths, just scored 94 in his exams, and he is well getting there in other subjects where it was the literacy which was keeping him back…These people are the ones who succeed most in life, possibly more than others without the problem…You have to live and meet such people to understand me…
The subscription is also renenwed according to demand, slowed down according to need and one is allowed to repeat and repeat lessons until they are surer of moving on…something very pro this program…
Besides kids look forward to their lesson on a daily basis because it is followed by a game, which changes every day…a variety of games cleverly testing them but teaching them in the process….and what better way to learn than through PLAY!!!!
Easy read gives these kids confidence, confidence to move on, to feel successful and to feel achievers…one piece of advice I add at this point is to make sure your child grasps the alphabet pictures well before proceeding to higher levels, as then it becomes so easy to build on that…..Most definitely this was a trick that David the author shared with me…
Easy read is a highly recommendable program which I cant but re-iterate how it can ABSOLUTELY change one’s life from a frightened DYSLEXIC to a sure SUCCESS in one’s life…
Please dont think twice…honestly and truely, just make the soundest decision you could ever do for your child today and enroll on the program….your kids will love it and will thank you Soooooo much when they grow up!!!
Thank you David for the initiative taken to produce such a wonderful system and help our kids become great achievers in their life…..

I have been so impressed with Easyread so far…
I have been so impressed with Easyread so far. Although Michael is still finding reading extremely difficult I have noticed that he doesn’t seem quite so anxious when confronted with text anymore, he is also a lot more confidant when tackling his story book – this is a great leap forward in my opinion.
The structure of the course works incredibly well, the games are hard enough to be exciting but not too difficult to put him off. The combination of games, particularly for a boy are excellent. The eye tracking exercises are also excellent, and have definately had an impact.
This is the first time that we have found a system that he is actually willing (in fact looks forward!) to do and after 6 weeks this is still the case.

Timothy has begun to show signs…
Timothy has begun to show signs of progress and improvement with his reading. This is really exciting for us to watch. He read a school book Oxford reading tree level three, for the first time with all the blends e.g th, ch, st, ou.
We had given the school books a rest for a while and I thought to try him after some time and hey this is very exciting I am amazed! he has moved on finally. He still needs plenty of practise of course but we can see the difference. Shall continue to report on his progress.
many Thanks
Elena

At the time of starting Easy Read in mid September 2010, Sebastian could not really read much and his reading age was 6years and 6months. After 1 month of doing easy read, his reading age improved by 1 year, to 7years and 6 months. He has just now been evaluated at school again and his reading age is now 8years and 4 months.

THANK YOU, a very demotivated speller who had developed low self esteem due to continual poor results on spelling tests, has transformed already into a very motivated and jubilant ‘spell-magicker!’

Lessons are going very well and we’ve definitely seen an improvement in her general reading. She is really keen to finish her reading books instead of just reading a few pages. Her teacher has also seen a big improvement in her writing!
Many thanks

With everything, I am seeing small improvements. He has started reading signs and things on the TV and has wanted to start playing games that require him to read. I am pleased with his progress and I am hoping that as he recovers from his surgery, it will get better.
Thank you.

Arun is highly motivated and is keen to do the day’s lesson in the morning before school. He understands all the instructions and so far i have only ever asked him if he understands what is being asked of him. To date he says he understands.
I think he is actually decoding as he is able to say the nonsense words using the symbols. So far so good and we are working steadily with an understanding that this is a slow and incremental process. I am so impressed with his engagement in this course. Your rewards triggered by codewords have really focused Arun to the task in hand.

Hello, after 6 months+ Oliver has made…
Hello, after 6 months + Oliver has made substantial progress with his reading. We’ve made the decision to stop easyread and continue with school reading books as this is not aversive now as it was when we started easyread. I’m very grateful for your hardwork assisting me with Oliver and I’m sure you’ll agree that his progress has been fantastic!
Thanks very much,
Stephen

I am delighted to report that Holly’s teacher has approached me today to say that Holly’s work/reading in school is really starting to improve quite significantly. We are so delighted and relieved. We had started to see a change in her reading ability at home and her confidence and attitude towards reading had also improved, but to hear that it is also being noticed at school is a real break through. Thank you so much to everyone at Easyread, I dread to think where we would be without you!

Tristan's story was that he was…
Tristan’s story was that he was completely unable to read any words 18 months ago. He simply could not make out how the letters formed words in his elementary school reading books and with 2 dyslexics in the family (grandfather and uncle), we were very worried he would struggle with dyslexia. The school refused to ‘label’ him and as a result we couldn’t have him assessed or get any extra help. That is when I heard about Easyread.
Tristan quickly took to the picture / letter association and slowly but surely his reading came on. Now, 16 months later, and after doing Easyread lessons 4/5 days a week, he is a ‘free reader’ at school and able to choose his own books. He can read proficiently now and his confidence has come on in leaps and bounds.
I feel very relieved to have been able to make a difference to him.
I would recommend Easyread as a very well thought through and successful learning system.
Hope that helps
Martin
Overall her reading has improved greatly…
Overall her reading has improved greatly, her teacher has noticed a difference in class, she takes a book to bed to read and reads things that are around her when we are out and about, not sure she’ll enjoy reading for pleasure though.
I would like her to do the roll-on part of level 5 as well.
Regards
Claire
His reading has improved out of all recognition…
His reading has improved out of all recognition since he started Easyread last September. It has never been a chore to get him to sit down and go though the lessons, which has made life very easy. The bite-sized lessons are the key to this and it means that he gets some reading practice most days, which I think is really important.
Best wishes, Lisa
I am pleased to report that…
I am pleased to report that at this early stage how I have seen Liam’s progress with his confidence and ability to do the Easyread lessons with minimal supervision. I would not hesitate in recommending Easyread to any parent.
Liam absolutly adore the games and we look forward to the many lessons that will follow.
Best regards,

Lately, I have definitely noticed that Wyeth is using her sounding out words instead of guessing which is great and she is able to try new words rather than just say she cannot read them. We are very happy with her progress.
Thanks!
