QUESTION 2) Could you tell us a few things that you have liked about the course so far?
1. Ryan has enjoyed the course from day 1. We don’t have any problems getting him to do his Easy Read, which we thought we might have.
2. I like the way that we are taught to praise the child’s efforts continuously so when there is a mistake it’s not a big deal. I think that has been very helpful not just in easy read, but when he is reading outside of easy read.
3. Reading aloud for Ryan wasn’t something that he was keen to do before Easy Read. Now when I encourage him to read aloud, he does so without any fuss. He is more confident in doing so.
4. The short sessions are very good – he never gets bored or sees it as a chore.
