“Kaitlyn jumped 3 reading levels at school last term. She’s been getting extra support each week at school which is building her confidence as she’s improving quickly. She’s very happy to be reading Snow White although she stresses when she sees the four lines together. She calms down when we tell her she’s already read them and that she just has to reread them. She’s starting to see herself as a reader and although it’s still early days we’re very happy with the progress.
Kaitlyn’s getting a little more confident with her writing too. She’s very imaginative and likes making up stories so we’re encouraging her to write them. She prefers other people do the writing for her but she’s still doing a lot better.”
