Well, we are absolutely and totally delighted with Easyread so far. Annie-May grows in confidence everyday. Her teachers cannot beleive the difference in her and she has gone up a stage in her reading at school already. They have been so impressed that they have mentioned Annie-May and Easyread to several other parents in her class whose children are also struggling with reading.
Annie-May seems to be reading so much more within her environment, something that she never did and last week she asked if she could have 10 minutes to read to herself before we turned her light out for bed. She read a whole story to herself and was so proud of herself as was I. That night I cried with pride and happiness. I have waited so long to hear her want to read.
I am not sure that a mere thank you is enough. But THANK YOU.

Our daughter Julia was struggling at the beginning of the school year. She can now read fluently . We are very satisfied with the results.

He is making progress for sure. We just had a conference last week, his teacher is saying as well that he is doing so much better in reading. His confidence is better as well. He is not there yet though, but easy read is helping him. We love the program. He is getting better and better in decoding the words. I have telling about the program to some friends of my. The use easy read as well now, and liking it. I am happy I found easy read!

Encouragingly his reading now has changed dramaticaly and we have been over the moon with what easy read has done for him. Intrestingly he now has his nose so much in a book he doesnt want to do his easy read lesson!

I have to say they are both getting on extremely well with reading books too. Infact Alfies new favourite series to read are ‘The amazing Adventures of Captain Underpants.’ So, as you can see, there is a general theme that keeps our home a happy one, generally all things pants!
Alfies interim School report gave Alfie a grade 1 for his effort for his reading and English, and his reading age has gone up 1 year 11 months since last September! So we are all very proud of his hard work, and continue to support and encourage him to read and have fun with words.

Carys is my second child to go through the Easyread course. She is a lot younger than most and started the course as a non reader. She found the lessons too long for a while. She is now at school and is flying through the school readers. She is now able to complete a lesson in one sitting. Her ability to sound out words and spell is quite extraordinary. She even sounded out the word museum and spelt it correctly. Not bad for a 5 years and 4 months old.

Thought you might like to know that I met with Amy’s teacher yesterday for a progress report on her reading. At the beginning of the year we had approached the school about getting some assistance because Amy was complaining that ‘reading hurt her brain’and she was struggling to read and spell common words. At her old school she had never reached her age level for reading. Yesterday the teacher told me that using the INCAS testing Amy’s reading age is 9 yrs 9 months (her actual age is 9 yrs and 3 month) and her decoding age is 13 years and 9 months!

So after 4 months using Easyread she has gone from someone who found reading painful to someone who is confident and happy with her reading. This is going to have a positive impact in so many ways.

I have found he is reading on easyready much more fluidly.  He also has shown an interest in other books… it’s not a fight to get him to read.  When he does read things on his own…. there has been a marked improvment.  I am excited to see what the next 6 weeks shows us!

Anna wanted me to send a message to you to say how well she is doing – over the last few days she has come along so well, we are really pleased with her progress and she says her reading is now Excellent:) she read her school book without a problem last night and normally it would be hard work to get her through a couple of pages:) Anna is really enjoying the work on here and she loves the prizes that come in the post for her.

We got our GOLD codeword today – looking forward to putting up his Gold certificate on his wall. Thank you again for all your help – I had a meeting with his teacher this week who said that she was very happy with his reading and literacy…..now just need to work on the maths!

She is still loving doing Easyread and the improvement in her reading is just astounding..she has now moved on to pocket books..something that seemed unobtainable just a few months ago!!

It is a fantastic system and you should be very proud of what you have achieved. I can only sing praises for your system and even the school that my child goes to can see the difference.

My boyfreind and I most certainly see a huge improvement in her reading, but more than this her confidence with it(him more than me as he doesn’t do it as regularly as myself with Maddie). I think the latter is the one I am most grateful for at this stage because with this it will allow her to want to work harder and harder to achieve what she needs to. It’s also showing her that she is not “stupid” (as she asked at times) and with the right tools given she can do anything. That’s what makes the difference between win or loose in life. The attitude we instill.

Today she brought home the best piece of writing she has ever done from school and when I told her how proud I was of her she said it was because EasyRead has made her better. She then said ‘Why can’t they do easyread for Maths?’ and she also has a lot of problems with numeracy often writing twenty one as 12 and struggling with even basic calculations. Do you know of any equivalent programme that will help with her maths?

Benjamin suffered from verbal dyspraxia and attended speech therapy from age 2 and a half until the age of 7 years. We were then told he would make progress in everything else especially reading and spelling. This did happen for a time then things just got stuck. After about 12 months when no real progress had been made we were told by his teacher that he had dyslexia. We then looked at various websites and came across easy read where a video confirmed that this was indeed the case. We then enrolled we the course. Benjamin loved it, he was able to read the stories and play the games with a certain amount of ease. He also loved the prizes which came through the post. Over the summer holidays we carried on with the course and when he went back to school the teacher was amazed at the change in his reading and spelling but also in his confidence. After 12 months we are saying a sad goodbye to easy read as in Benjamin’s words ‘it is too easy’. Following a meeting at the school we have been informed that Benjamin’s reading age has increased by 2 years in less than 12months and his spelling has increased by more than 2 years. I would happily recommend easyread and say it is money well spent.

When I started Easyread I didn’t knwo what to expect and I wasn’t very good at reading. But when i got a few weeks into Easyread I found reading much easier. I really lioke the characters – they really help and I love them games. My favourite game is Spotter but I’m not very keen on Mushroom Picker. Now I am in the gold level of Easyread and I am trying to read the Harry Potter books. I find it hard when I do a new thing on Easyread but then I get used to it and it is easy.
