I like Easyread so much and I think Easyead is amazing because it is fun and it really helped me learn to read better. I think it is creative, because it has cool stories and I really like the games and mostly the prizes. When Easyread is over, I am really going to miss it alot. And that is all I have to say.

After using the accelerator Anya’s reading has made a huge imporvement. She is now in year 2 and she is at the expected level for her age.

Her reading has improved a great deal since she started easyread.She is now off the school reading scheme but more importantly is reading independently for pleasure.She enjoys the Jacqueline Wilson stories and Enid Blyton.
She still has a slight tendency to guess words but it is very much less than it was.She is much better equipped to decode more complex words which she used to guess at wildly!

We have made it this far and she appears to be doing really well. We had a parent teacher evening the other day and her teacher has said how much she has blossomed. I think that she has really gained in confidence since doing this,

I had a lovely time doing easy read and getting all my spy gear now I am going to be a real good spy.I am reading a book about olden days in england called Meet Grace. Grace is a mudlark and she loves horses and it’s 1808 and Grace is living with her uncle in London and his name is Ord.She steals apples and gets into lots of trouble.You should get this book it’s a really good book. I LOVE reading now. Thank you for helping me.

Thank you again for your excellent program as you can see Courtney very much enjoys reading now and is looking forward to reading the other books in this series. She has already organised for us purchase the next book which I am more than happy to do. We are so very pleased that she gone from being a reluctant reader to a child who thoroughly enjoys books,reading independently or out loud to us. I know that without the support of your program we would not have seen this type of development in her reading skills. As a classroom teacher myself, I have told a number of parents about the program and it’s benefits. We have decided not to go on with level 5. As I mentined in a recent email, I will continue to support and monitor Courtney’s development. I have her copy of the easyread characters and when she experiences difficulty we refer back to this for assistance and we will continue to use this method. I am please to say the guessing has stopped and she looks much more carefully for letter patterns and uses her knowledge of sounds to assist with the decoding of difficult words.Again thank you for your ongoing support throughout the program.

We have been doing Easyread for 6 weeks now and Saffron is making excellent progress. She is becoming very fluent and accurate at reading the sounds where there is no text, I am impressed with her memory especially when she gets a picture we have not had for a while. The pictures and one liners about each image which gives you the word sound is certainly working for Saffron. She does however become a little bored with the repetitive nature of the Jungle game at the start of each lesson so we are now just completing this every other day. Saffron loves the game randomiser at the end of the reading session and looks forward to this each day.

Stephen and I are both pleased with the easyread and he still enjoys doing it although he prefers some of the games to others and tries to let the game selector choose twice and I laugh when its always the same on that day. His confidence and capability has much improved, and he is brilliant with the story and I forget the name but the code type wording, pictures. Sometimes with his school homework reading he tries to guess the odd word but we do emphasise still decoding. he actually says his teacher does not do it properly easyread is better!!! Thanks

He is really doing well with easyread and loves using the bamboo tablet. He is now reading in bed every night and is finding his school work much easier.

I have told the Literacy co-ordinator at the school about Easyread and she has passed the information on to the parents of another child who has similar problems Andrew’s.

We are very pleased with Andrew’s progress as he is a much happier boy now.

I’m just confirming that all is well and although he’s not supposed to have he is already showing improvement in his school reading, which has given him tremendous confidence and a bigger incentive to carry on with the Easyread system.
