Secretly he knows he is getting better…
James is definitely reading more fluently and with significantly less guessing even in his normal reading. He usually manages the story first time and doesn’t need to re-read.
Secretly I think he knows he is getting better as well.
He loves the games! I look forward to further confidence boosts as we continue to progress.

Noah's song and dance about Easyread
He is a much happier boy than a year ago and that is lovely to see…
Adam is making good progress and is a lot more confident about his general reading of everyday signs, logo’s etc. His teacher informed us that he got 98/100 spellings correct in everyday words at the start of term; something that Adam didn’t even mention to us! He seems much more confident at school now and it’s great to see.
He is still a reluctant reader and writer but does not protest as much as he can do it when focused. His understanding of how to spell is also improving slowly and he is less frustrated with himself. As parents we feel empowered as we feel much more able to understand how he learns and how to help him. He is a much happier boy than a year ago and that is lovely to see.

"I don't freak out any more with reading."
Dear David,
I feel proud to have reached the gold level. I have enjoyed all the stories except Jack and the Seal. I love the Grace story the most of all the stories. I don’t freak out any more with reading. I love decoding. I love my spy “kit.” I will always remember the easyread characters to help me with reading…I have them in my brain. I liked hearing your voice everyday. You are the best reading teacher in the world. The skipe lesson with you was WONDERFUL! Thank you for helping me with reading. Best Wishes, Amanda
P.S. I love reading.
To start with I was not expecting the system you have… to work.
To start with I was not expecting the system you have of using pictures to decode words to work, but it worked brilliantly. George soon got the hang of it and it got him out of the habit of guessing the words. In the end he got really quick and I found it hard to keep up with him. George still has a lot of catching up to do and his school are helping him with that but I found Easyread a great support as I am not trained in teaching children to read.I was getting really frustrated at times because I could not understanding how George was actually trying to read, we take reading for granted and when I first found your website it was such a relief to find somebody who understood my child.
We found the mixture of games with stories a good way of keeping George interested and obviously he thought the codewords were brilliant. To be honest I can not think of any negatives right now, we are just so pleased to have finished and yes George is reading now, not voluntarily and he does still guess but he usually knows now if he is going wrong and he can work out almost any word he is shown.
Thank you so much for your support and i feel this has been a really worth while exercise for me and George, well worth the money.

i was so proud of shakeel for…
i was so proud of shakeel for what he has achieved so far i had to tell you, when shakeel started reading it took him almost a month to read one book and that was the tiger that came to tea, since the begining of september shakeel has read the following books and each book took him about two days to complete.
The three Bears
The very hungry caterpillar
BOO
Green Eggs and Ham
and yesterday he started read I can read with my eyes shut.
This is so amazing to see the change in him specially within the last month
thank you
We are in general, finding that she is much more relaxed…
We are in general, finding that she is much more relaxed and can accept being challenged to think carefully on how she would spell certain words, and is open to discussion about perhaps using a different letter that might make a similar sound when she has to sit down and do her school homework, which is making us all very happy.
Her teacher says that she is starting to progress up the levels in class and there has been a significant improvement in her hand writing. He is very pleased, so are we, as this was not happening previously, rather it was going the other way.
We have passed your name on to one of the other parents who has a child finding reading difficult, she is very interested to see if it will help her child as well.
Catelin has also just had her eyes tested, with no problems noted. We had her tested with colour overlays last year, and the optician now does lens colour testing which is an option we may also explore if it may help with reading ability.
Kind regards
M
Our journey is almost ending with Easyread…
Our journey is almost ending with Easyread. It is very bittersweet to say the least. Your program works!! It helped our son when he needed it the most. We are sure that many persons are grateful for the help Easyread has provided-we, however, are in your debt. Easyread has kept the promises made.
Noah reads well, actually above and way, way beyond our expectations in a relatively short period of time.
As a thank you, we have posted a “thank you” video of sorts to Easyread. The title, “Easyread Works-“I Can Read it Now” at Waimanolo 1 on Youtube.
A special thank you to Laura and the Easyread team for all of their help and patience.
A very satisfied mom,

Vast improvements, great support
Overall, I have seen a vast improvement in Francis’ sound recognition, decoding, encoding, reading and spelling skills since we started easyread. He is very good at reading single words now – with and without the easyread characters. As he is dyslexic I thought he would have difficulty with spelling, but as he can now correctly identify sounds, his spelling is pretty good for a child his age.
I don’t think we would have gotten to this point without easyread. Francis previously had daily special intervention at school for a year, and extra help at home with no noticable improvement. As a result of his improved reading skills, his confidence in school has bounced back, and school has ceased being torturous (we had tears on a daily basis on the way to school at the end of last year). Now school is ‘ok’ and ‘a little bit good’. I hope that by the end of our easyread journey this might hopefully turn into ‘fun’ or ‘great’.
Francis’ school, SEN co-ordinator and teacher have been very supportive of me wanting to try a fresh approach, and his teacher has also noticed a great improvement in his skills. She sent him home with a postcard yesterdsy that shows a dragon spewing fire that spells ‘good reading’ and a text that certifies that Francis is making ‘excellent progress’ in his reading skills. He is very proud that she gave him this special acknowledgement.
Overall I have become a great fan of easyread. It really works and all the games are fun. When things get difficult you are available to help. I also like David’s clear instructions for parents. With the school stuff I knew what I was suppose to teach Francis, but not HOW to teach it so he would get it and it would stick. With easyread what you do and how you do it is very straightforward. As there are lots of small tasks that get immediate results you can praise a lot, which helps to keep positive momentum. It is also fantastic that the lessons are limited to 10 to 15 minutes, as even working parent like me can easily make time for a session on most days, and if Francis doesn’t feel like doing easyread I can tell him ‘but it will only take 10 minutes’.
I think that you provide a great solution for children and parents of kids struggling to learn how to read. It obviously takes a while to form the neurological pathways that will help dyslexic (and non-dyslexic) children read, but it is a very worthwhile effort, and 10 – 15 minuted a day over the course of a year is hardly onerous. Considering how many children cannot or struggle to read when they leave primary school, maybe the government should consider providing easyread in primary school. I will certainly mention this to the Senco of Francis’ school when we have our next catch-up.

"I now really enjoy being able to read, harder, more interesting books"….
Tom loves his latest prize from you which was the radio, thank you! Last term his teacher gave him another class award for improvement in reading, and he has jumped ahead 4 reading levels in class! He is showing more interest generally in reading- news headlines, road signs etc., and continues to be pretty enthusiastic about his Easyread sessions.
I just asked hom what he thinks of Easyread now….’I think it’s amazing how quickly I have learnt how to read and I now really enjoy being able to read, harder, more interesting books.’

"…music to my ears!"
Preston is doing well with Easyread! I haven’t seen any struggles with reading the story, and he looks forward to doing his lesson every night. We are so very pleased with his progress. In fact, we went out to dinner last night, and he was reading and sounding out the words on the various signs hanging on the restaurant’s walls. It was music to my ears!

Meritorious Achievement!
We would like to thank you for this product. Justin’s reading has improved dramatically, this is visible in the marks that he has brought home at the end of each school term, especially this term’s report where he only achieved 5 and 6’s (5 : Substantial Achieved and 6 : Meritorious Achieved).
We would like to thank you once again, and we will definitely promote this product if we happen to hear of any other household struggling with minors that find it difficult to read.

He isn't afraid of reading anymore!
Titus loves Easyread and can’t wait to login every day! Thank you for this great program – Titus has made marvelous improvements already (he isn’t afraid of reading anymore!! yay!)
Titus wanted me to mention that he LOVES the Treasure Quest game 🙂
Thank you for helping me learn to read better…
I have really enjoyed doing Easyread. The best bit was when I got codewords and prizes and my favourite game was Letter Quest.
Thank you for helping me learn to read better.

For the first time ever he is interested in reading…thank you…
Firstly I would like to say another HUGE thank you for the system. Aiden has chosen to pick up a book and read it! For the first time ever he is interested in reading and actually can follow the story rather than it being words on a page. I’ve bought him some books written for dyslexics, beige paper, different line spacing etc. and he chooses to read these every day after doing his Easyread. I never thought he would do that.
His reading is improving and I haven’t noticed him having any difficulties with anything recently.

Easyread is very easy to read!…
Calum says that he finds Easyread is very easy to read! He enjoys the lessons and finds the games motivating. It was hard at the start to re-read but he now does it automatically and “fluent” has become a key word in his vocabulary. Calum’s Mum and I are very happy with his progress so far. His confidence has clearly risen.

It's more fun than he even expected…
Zane has found Easyread more fun than he even expected and always enjoys the game at the end of his lesson!

"Life is Good"
We are reading up a storm in the R. household! Preston is doing so well, in both school and with the Easyread program. He recently got a 100% on his spelling test! We are so very pleased! There are four reading groups in his class, and Preston is in the 2nd highest reading group! He used to guess at words, now I “catch” him decoding them. Life is good! Thank you for your well wishes and interest!
