So so very excited and happy!
I’m so, so very excited and happy. Emily had a writing assessment last week at school, and her results were fantastic, she did such an amazing job and her teacher was very pleased with her results. She is at and above her level. I really can’t believe it and am so thrilled about it. Her reading has improved immensely and I can tell she is using tools to decode words when she gets stuck, so incredible to see. Your program is amazing and even that I never had any doubts seen the results is absolutely thrilling. She just need to build her confidence a bit more and believe in herself.
My question is now, as I don’t completely understand the numbers in her results, what can you see and maybe explain her results? In the graphs, is the line or dots that apply to her?
Also how does it work, when does program finishes? Is it like a final session as such? Or is up to the parents?
Again I’m super excited and thanks you so much for such a fantastic and fun program to help kids read and write.
A big improvement in past 2 weeks
Yes, noticed a big improvement in just the past 2 weeks. He’s started decoding in his head. He’s definitely not guessing as much as he used to and he has started to decode words he sees outside of Easyread.
Highest marks possible in school for reading…
He’s already received the highest marks he can receive in school for reading…which is a huge improvement in such a relatively short time! Thanks again for your help and partnership in this journey. 🙂
I have to tell you I was very skeptical about this program…
I have to tell you I was very skeptical about this program and how it was going to get my son to read better. I kept saying how is this process going to work? One thing my son is very good at is memorizing things. He managed to memorize all the easy read pictoral diagrams. I\’m not sure if you are able to see march 8th lesson but at the end you have pictures and letters underneath and he was able to sound out the word like a champ. I have never ever seen my son sound out a word by sounding out each letter. When he reads he usually just says the word as he memorized up to a grade 2 level. That is a lot of words to memorize. I was in tears. He did each word in 20 seconds and there was no pauses at all. I cleary see how this program is going to work and I will continue with easy read and honestly cant wait for the next lesson

Hi! I just want to share with you that we see amazing results in Paul\’s reading. His spelling is starting to improve too.
The days when we would all scream our heads off and cry at doing home reading are long gone.
Everything is happening just like you indicate in the training sessions. At around lesson 90 we started seeing the results show outside the program. But the first signs I saw were some time after lesson 60, when I surprised Paul read or at least attempting to read some words either on the tablet screen or on various objects in the house. An early sign was also that he started looking at the whole word instead of just looking at the beginning of the word.

A whole range of improvements…
Freddie and I are really enjoying it and I can see a range of improvements in Freddie: he is definitely more relaxed around words and reading now and voluntarily reads packaging labels, instructions etc. His reading is more accurate and quicker and his spelling is more often correct these days. When spellings are incorrect they are now at least recognisible attempts. We still have some way to go but I can tell from his attitude to his work outside of the porgramme that his self esteem is improving and he is beginning to want to have a go at reading and writing. Thank you Sarah and David, we will definitely continue.
Reading a book in bed – first time ever!
I went upstairs last night and for the first time ever, Lily was reading a book on her bed!!
I was thrilled to say the least. I also ignored it as I didn’t want to make a big thing out of it but ran downstairs to tell my husband who was also very happy. Thank you
The system has been brilliant
In short the system has been brilliant so far – the short lessons are easy to fit in to our daily routine, and the use of games, encouragement and humour (as well as the prizes!) keep Evan engaged and motivated, and ensure the lessons never seem like a chore. Support from the team has been invaluable, especially with regard to the tips about helping eye-tracking weakness, and the quick responses from the team (particularly if there’s any indication Evan is struggling) are really appreciated.

Now he attempts to read everything!
We are really sad to be stepping away from the programme, as it has been a brilliant, supportive resource available to us every day for the last few months. When we started, Leo really struggled to read, and had no ability to decode at all. He failed the year one phonics test and was a few years behind in his reading ability. With you help, he can now de code, and he attempts to read everything he used to ask us to read for him. He is also really confident to jump into books. He loved the books in the daily sessions, they were really funny and have given him a newfound desire to read, which he definitely didn’t have before. We have seen a huge improvement, and look forward to seeing him progress further now that he has the basic skill under his belt. All of the DM staff have been so helpful and friendly for us through our journey, we are so so thankful for all of their help and support.
She has almost stopped guessing!
The course is excellent and we have seen an improvement in Lily’s reading already. She has almost stopped guessing and is de-coding both with Easyread and her school books. She is still quite to happy to do the lesson every day.
I think it’s great that you are so available with good ideas for contact and staying in touch. Thanks for all your help and support
Teachers are asking what we’re doing at home…!
Thank you so much! He is really enjoying the short daily lessons. I cam see progress happening right in front of me. His teachers also have inquired as to what we are doing at home because there is a difference in school. YAY!
Major breakthrough… on day 3!
I must say, this is a major breakthrough for us. I watched him in disbelief as he tries to put together words, i see that he is less frustrated and he is enjoying every step of the way, and he is looking forward to Day 3. He managed to spell words such as \coconut,boat,ship”, in just day 2, we have seen a major change.

Tiago has achieved his grade level of reading and most important of all, has found the joy in reading again.
I am very thankful for your program and I think people should be more aware of it and its existence, especially teachers.

To be honest i have no negative feedback to provide. I really did not expect Jacques to make so much progress at this stage.
The support provided in the early stages by your team was just what i needed as i really has no idea how to be of help to Jacques and you were great in letting me know how to help and how much to help.
it has helped Dylan learn to start decoding words rather than guessing
We are very happy with the progress we have seen with easy read for both our boys, who are at different levels in their reading ability. It has improved Tyler’s ability to decode new and unfamiliar words more easily and it has helped Dylan learn to start decoding words rather than guessing. The games keep it fun and interesting for the boys and they enjoy the secret decoding using the characters.

Fluency greatly improved
I really like this program. I have noticed already that my daughter Eva, has tried to read various things on her own, when before the program she wanted nothing to do with trying to read. She will read random words while we are out at the store and find a sentence or two someplace to try and read. Her fluency on the smaller words has improved greatly. I have recommended this program to several other people and I do hope they try it out. I would like if she could use the typing game more frequently to help improve her typing skills. Other than that I do not have any suggested improvements at this time.
He’s now ahead of most of his class!
I got the eval back from Andy’s teacher and he has jumped 7 reading levels since starting, to where he is now ahead of most of his class. Thank you so much for this wonderful program. I think we are now ready to cancel but as a success story!!!!!

Her reading has improved and her spelling is also getting better. She doesn’t guess anymore and actually takes time to spell out words.

Learned a tremendous amount

His reading has come a long way
Theo’s reading has come a long way. He still has trouble spelling but it has improved somewhat as well. I’m very glad we found you on line. His confidence reading aloud is much improved. He is finally starting to be able to break down longer words with less coaching. Â Many thanks to you and David for helping our son!
What a difference from last year!
As we draw near to the end of this program we are more then happy with the experience. The program has given excellent support to both Briggs and I. At the beginning of the program the parent training was very helpful. Learning how my son\’s brain was processing letter/sound association impacted how I supported him and allowed me the ability to understand his struggle. The training also helped me understand the unique way that the method would address his needs. As he moved through the program I saw his confidence grow with his ability and with that his willingness to read outside the program. At his birthday this year my husband I and we thrilled when he opened his cards and was able to read them!!! What a difference from the year before when he didn\’t even try. Thank you. This program has exceeded my expectations and my son can now read!!!
Definitely seeing improvement
Edie is very happy with the course – she never complains about doing it and it has been very easy to get back into the habit after a break over Christmas. I can definitely see an improvement within the lessons, particularly in the reading section, and I think I am starting to see an improvement outside too with her reading.
