Scarlett has really persisted and enjoyed doing Easyread. It has very much become part of her daily routine. The regular feedback and overall theme helped engage her – rewards go a long way for the motivation. But she has found doing the programme in instelf quite motivating. Her spelling has improved though there are still words she struggles with I think that is going to be a matter of just learning by rote. She is a voracious reader – her nose is always in a book – which is great to see.

Travis is doing so well. He is beginning to enjoy reading. The other day he even took a book to the restaurant instead of his Nintendo!

Last week he had to do reading tests in school and they had to bump him up 4 levels. He eventually scored an ‘independent’ score at level 40, which means that he is now less than a half year behind. This is fantastic considering that he did not speak a single word of english a year and a half ago, and was diagnosed as dyslexic. This makes him very motivated to continue as he would love to be at his class level.

I am writing to let you know that Aidan is making excellent progress with his reading. He is reading age-appropriate books fluently except for the occassional omission and guessing, which we know is down to his visual motor problems. His confidence is growing and there have been some small improvements in his writing and spelling.

I am extremely proud and humbled at how much Aidan has acheived despite his difficulties. He has worked very hard and you have provided him with the tools to decipher those little meaningless black marks on a white page into a ‘whole new dimension’-Aidan says: I feel like I’ve been barraging at a locked door and suddenly found the key under the door mat-it’s a whole new dimension!.

Thanks once again for your continued support throughout. Keep up the good work.

Arun is progressing very well. His reading has really come along in leaps and bounds as evidenced reading his school reading books. He has moved from plain reading to adding good expression. He even asked to finish his book last night by reading an extra chapter. That has not really happened before. I hope there is a love for books emerging!

The program is going very well for Maya so far. I really love how structured the program is and the short lessons which only take 5-15 minutes each day. This program has really helped to build Maya’s confidence level and fluency and that’s really pleasing to me as a parent. I am looking forward to the coming weeks and months! Thank you.

Just want to let you know Ava was reading the back of a bag of chips (crisps to you) tonight! And she was reading words like protein, sodium, calcium, iron, ect. It was shocking! And amazing! Walter and I were wowed.

Things are really clicking for her. She is whipping through her Easyread lessons. The monkey jungle juggle is “easy” for her now (her words) and I’ve noticed that the words are getting trickier, but not tricky for her. She is a perfectionist, which I think was a big hurdle for her to overcome to read in the first place, she hates getting things wrong and won’t try because of it.

Her 2 teachers have nothing but great things to report.  To think we were going to switch schools last year because of one incompetent teacher. With your program and lots of work from Ava, she has come sooooo far. We might have had to write off her grade 2 year, but I think we are all helping her catch up. A big thank you to your program and all your support.

I have sometimes found Easyread easy and sometimes hard. I think reading is the key to every thing because in an exam you would have to read the question. At school I have moved up to the middle group and I am now a free reader! I have enjoyed Easyread. Thank you, for helping me.

Rose gets on with her Easyread sessions very efficiently. Yesterday, I reminded Rose she had some spellings to learn for a test at school today. She read each one, copied it down, then I tested her on them and she got them all right. She got them all right when tested later in the day too. Usually, she would get some wrong and have to be reminded – it would take two or three days to get the spellings in. I said to her, ‘You are learning your spellings more quickly nowadays, since you’ve been doing Easyread and all these eye exercises’ – and she said, ‘I just used to forget them before. Now I can remember them. Thankyou!’ Her reading is definitely easier since she did the tracking exercises, and she reads many more words easily than before. She is still not sitting and reading to herself much, but is happier to read to me than ever before, and much more confident when she does. Her progress may not be dramatic, but I am very pleased with how things are going. I know she is in the middle of the process, and we are both very happy with our routine, confident that she will go on improving.

So far so good, reading with the Easyread characters works really well. So far I would 100% recommend the Easyread system. The biggest gain so far is his confidence during the lessons. Normal reading there is definitely an improvement, be it quite small at this stage. I look forward to the next 2-3 months to see what happens. Thanks,

Hamish is finding reading easier and not becoming worried and stressed out by it. In fact today he did fighter mission without needing me to confirm with him whether the word was correct before he tried to hit it and didn’t throw a big strop when he got one wrong.
Slow progress but lovely and positive all the same, which simply makes me a very happy mum!

I am glad I did Easyread and I wish I could keep on going because it is fun and I’ll miss getting prizes. I really liked you David and will miss you. You never made me feel bad when I got it wrong and I like that you encouraged me to do stuff.
I would tell another child to do Easyread because it is really helpful and encouraging. My reading teacher at school was pleasantly amazed at how much progress I made over the Summer. I went from below grade level to above grade level while doing Easyread. And I liked doing it with my Dad every day even though I was grumpy sometimes.

Last November we were all at a loss to know how to lift Flossie’s confidence, but Easyread really did come to the rescue. It gave us all a focus and allowed us to see realtime progress with Flossie in a matter of weeks. Flossie has since moved up several reading levels and is predicted to make a satisfactory grade in her first SATS exam.
