Progressed 3 reading levels!
I would like to finish up with easy read at the end of our current cycle. We have thoroughly enjoyed this program and are thrilled with the progress Jade has made. It is an excellent program and I have recommended it to all my friends. Jade has progressed three reading levels in less than two school terms and we couldn\’t be happier.
He wrote a shopping list!
Just wanted to tell you Malachi wrote a shopping list and sounded out the words. First time ever 🙂
Just a quick message to say a big thank you to Akash for…
Just a quick message to say a big thank you to Akash for the encouraging and positive skype lesson yesterday. It was so helpful to get such wonderful feedback and some ideas for moving on (with the vowels). It meant the world to Gabriella who grew as if she were 6 feet tall with pride. She asked when we could do it again. So I said every now and again perhaps we could book in as a way of her getting the feedback. I encourage her but she knows that I’m her mum and it’s my job to say good things to her!!!
It’s a truly amazing programme and team and I feel so thankful to have this support and positivity at what has been such a challenging and frustrating time.
Thank you so much,
M
Lots of changes so far!
So far, very good experience and I see a lot of changes in his reading, spelling, rhyming and specially his motivation and attitude towards reading in a very positive way.
Keep up the good work!!!
I am recommending it to anyone
We have LOVED EasyRead, and I am recommending it to anyone who will listen. It’s been fantastic, and Jake’s reading has really taken off.

Your personal support keeps me going!
When something is difficult, Akash, you have had great ideas and that is the one thing that keeps me going with this process.
Alfie is becoming much more confident…
My general impression is that my Alfie is becoming much more confident with his reading and is also much more engaged with the concept. I would say he has definitely made this leap in the last 5 lessons. Fluency still remains to be an issue but progress has definitely been made with his decoding ability.

He has even started borrowing books from the school library voluntarily
How has progress been through the first half of the process and have we delivered on our unconditional promise of clear reading progress with normal books by lesson 90?
ANSWER: Yes you have. He has even started borrowing books from the school library voluntarily and has been actively looking through them. They may be Dr Who ones, but i am impressed that he is doing this!

I can only credit and thank Easyread
Luca has made amazing progress in his reading and writing and I can only credit and thank Easyread. Being Dyslexic, Luca needed a different way of learning to read which was not offered in school and Easyread was the answer. As a mum I am so glad that I found Easyread and recommend it to anyone who’s child is struggling with reading. Thanks heaps

Max was so excited
Thank you Lydia for our Skype lesson last night. It was great to check up on not only Max but how I was handling the lessons as I always double if I’m encouraging enough or doing the right thing to help Max the best I can.
I also wanted to say a big thanks to you for getting David to have a little chat and thank you for David for doing it.
Max was so excited to chat to the famous David. We’ve had a few down less and I feel this chat has given Max a massive boost to keep trying. So Thanks.

Hi, Finley has come to the end of the course…
Hi, Finley has come to the end of the course and we are happy for him to receive the helicopter.
Finley has enjoyed the course and it appears to have helped a great deal with his reading writing and decoding of words. His teacher at school has also recorded a big leap forward in his progression at school. He also wants to read now which is lovely to see and hear as he reads away at bedtime. Thank you for all the help and excellent programme.

A huge shift in her reading
We have seen a huge shift in her reading and attempting to read things! She is finally able to read her Year 1 English work (Still 2 years below her age but a big step forward!) gets tired quickly but can read it!!!!!
She loves all the prizes and waiting for them come through the post!
Roshil has indeed improved a lot in his free reading…
Thanks for your mail,Roshil has indeed improved a lot in his free reading, there is still little bit of guessing in his free reading outside of the lessons as he tries to impress us with speed but when we remind him to look at it again he decodes it.
There are some words he still wants to read phonetically eg:people as pi op ley and walk as volk etc which I am sure he will pick up in the days to come.spelling is still very bad, hope it improves further down in the programme.
He is now in level 7 in reading as per his school,so a good improvement from level 2 to level 7 in 2 months time.
we are happy with the progress,he might take upt0 90 lessons to read fluently and correctly, but he is getting so good with each passing day
We will follow the golden rules in this phase as well!thank you for all your support
p.s:he loves letter quest so if you could do something so he gets letter quest often he will be more than happy

Jonah started the second grade a very frustrated and hopeless little boy…
Jonah started the second grade a very frustrated and hopeless little boy. Although his Accelerated Reader level was 2.0, he was the lowest reader in his class. Jonah goes to a private school and they use a curriculum that is much more challenging than what you will find in a public school classroom. Second grade was such a wake up call because suddenly he was expected to do all of his work, most of which is reading based, on his own and not as a class. At the start of the year, Jonah would bring home work that was half finished and would sometimes admit to copying off of his neighbor because he knew that he wasn’t going to get finished otherwise. Normally a sweet and respectful little boy, he raised his fists and yelled at classmates, his teacher and the librarian numerous times during the first few weeks of school. He was embarrassed, anxiety filled and hopeless. As a parent, I knew he was very intelligent, but I couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t getting it.
Many times in my life I have turned to internet research, and normally I wind up trying to piece together this information and that, drawing conclusions that may or not be correct because I can’t find the exact answer to the question I am asking. However, for the first time ever when I searched, “Why can’t my 7 year old read?” I found an answer that spoke directly to my question when I found the Easy Read website. I even cried when I stumbled upon it because as I read down the list, I thought, “This is Jonah, and this, possibly this, etc.” It was like someone had been following him around and knew exactly what was happening with him. That, as much as anything, convinced me to give it a try. The public schools in our area use a system called “Lexia” and they swear by it. My husband is a public school teacher and had set Jonah up with a Lexia account between his kindergarten and first grade year, and it was nothing but frustrating for him. It may work for a lot of kids, but it wasn’t working for Jonah. It was not speaking to the problem that Jonah was having. It was one more way in which Jonah felt he couldn’t do what everyone else could.
We signed up for Easyread and explained to Jonah that his reading difficulty was because he was so smart that his brain had been trained to use a shortcut that just didn’t work for him long-term and that we were going to re-train his brain to do it in a more effective manner. After lesson 1, Jonah was a whole new kid. It was like he finally had hope, and it was a relief to him that he wasn’t just a big dummy. He began making strides immediately just because he no longer felt so hopeless. His teacher even told us around Halloween that she had never had a student make such huge strides in such a short time. She said she’d had some amazing turn-arounds, but never like Jonah. He was a whole new kid. By Christmas, Jonah had moved up a whole grade level in his Accelerated Reader books, and was in beginning chapter books. Before Spring Break, Jonah was in chapter books on about a 3.5 reading level with about 8,000 words. The week after spring break, he started on books around 3.7 reading level with 28,000 words and no pictures. The AR test? He aced it! I am so proud of him. He has been on the A/B honor roll all year, and his school uses a very difficult grading scale. None of it would have been possible without Easy Read and Jonah’s determination to work hard and stay the course. We cannot say “Thank you” enough.

Profound influence on Max
Thank you. We are very happy with the progress that Max made while on the Easy Read programme. Max is now in mid reading groups with his class peers this year. Part way through the programme last year Max also stopped biting his nails which was another positive sign of the profound influence the programme has had on Max. Thank you very much
Definite improvement
I feel there is definitely an improvement in Islas confidence and in her ability to blend longer words. She remains happy to do easy read every day which is fantastic.
Feeling optimistic!
Last Thursday, Melina picked up a book that is 2nd grade level reading that is part of a series – and she has read through it and two more books in that series on her own. Reading comprehension is still tricky for her, I think, but she picks away at it!
The only thing that worked
We would like to let you know that we have decided to finish the program for Rusty. The program has been fantastic for us and has been the only thing that has seemed to get Rusty from where he was to where he is now. We are forever grateful for the lesson and time invested in your program.
Enormous delight and pride
She has started reading words in her life – such as checking if a book title on our shelves says what she thinks it says. And she has been correct in her reading. She has an enormous sense of delight and pride when these moments happen.
He is now beating me at decoding!
The past lessons have been great. I am really noticing the difference with his reading and fluency. It used to be that I was the one helping him decode the books but now he beats me on almost every word!
Even the fluency in his reading of a normal book has improved, as has his confidence.
I can’t wait to see the differences as we continue.
Thank you!
Really helps with pronunciation
Hav[ing] the trainer text to help with the different sounds that some letters make… really helps with the pronunciation of words. I also really like the short lessons. I think that this prevents Finn from getting tired and frustrated with the process. The lessons and games also really engage him which is great. He looks forward to his lessons.
She now enjoys reading and her confidence and grades are soaring…
Thank you so much for this program and all of your help. I hope that I can remain in contact. I wish you both continued success and, again, thank you for helping my daughter learn to decode, thus read. She now enjoys reading and her confidence and grades are soaring.
Sincerely,
K
My daughter’s been doing Easyread for about 6mths…
My daughter’s been doing Easyread for about 6mths and it’s incredible how she’s developed. She loves reading now and reads aloud willingly and with confidence. I highly recommend the system. So much more effective than a private tutor once a week. In fact I’m about to start my son on it now that he’s just turned 6. Can’t wait to see his confidence sky rocket too! 🚀Thanks David and The Team for your continued support ☺️

Tremendous strides
Hello. We would like to hold off on a further subscription for A and A. My girls have both made tremendous strides. With the school year coming to a close they are showing less interest in the program and more interest in books! Yeah!
Thank you!

Fewer tears, much less frustration, and a better school experience
Dear Easy-Read Team,
I wanted to say thank you for all you have done for my son Evan over these past 10 months or so. He has made great strides in reading fluency, which has also meant many fewer tears, much less frustration, and a better school experience. He’s also gained the experience of working hard at something that he didn’t initially want to do and seeing it pay dividends, as well as realizing that sometimes there are outside factors (such as eye-tracking issues) that can affect reading, which can be overcome and which *do not* reflect on his self-worth.
Regrettably, it’s time for us to come to an end with our time with Easy-Read, as we need to divert our time, efforts, and finances to other challenges. But we do so feeling that we’ve reached our goal–Evan’s teachers, Evan and myself are all pleased with where he stands now and where he can go from here.
Please let me know if you need anything else from me.
Best wishes to all of you!
