We are ending off Madelyn’s grade 2 school year and she has been able to reach the grade 3 reading level. I am so thankful for Easyread helping her accomplish this

Things are going really well. Levi’s reading speed inside the library zone has really picked up while his mistakes are decreases. He’s really caught on to the idea of not guessing small words while still giving one good try at decoding with out the trainer text before bringing them up when and if they are needed. He’s also start to sound out and spell work outside of our lesson time in Easy Read.

Alice is getting along very well with the Programme

1- Alice has moved up several levels in her school reading books, and she is able to read with confidence and more accuracy.
2- She is able to read smaller text in books, and we are working down the text size in the Programme.
3- We have no concerns, and are happy with the rate of improvement in Alice.

I am writing to you to inform you that I wish to cancel my subscription with yourselves, as we are finding we are not logging in as much as we use to. Thank you for everything and all the support, as Aimee reading has come on leaps and bounds, since lesson 1 and she is continuing to enjoy reading. She is currently reading Harry Potter, as she got all the books as a gift.

After discussion with Vivienne, it has been decided that our Easyread journey has come to an end. Thank you for helping Viv gain a love of reading that she never had before. You have a fantastic program that I have recommended to many people.

Viv’s teachers have commented that they cannot believe the incredible progress she has made in her reading. When I think back to last September as compared to where we ended up eight months later (not even) it is night and day. Viv has been so happy to work on Easyread, it was never a chore, nor difficult to get her to do the lesson. The support is fantastic.

I just want to thank you all at Easy Read for the amazing program. I was SO worried about Ashley when we started, and it was breaking my heart because her older sister is a gifted reader who read early and with practically zero instruction–so I felt so lost with Ashley. We have been so grateful for this program. When Covid hit and we were stuck at home, Luke was already struggling to catch up with his grade level in reading! He was so literal in his attempts that the English language rules or I should say exceptions to the rule boggled his brain! He constantly guessed or made up his own words! He was so down on himself and his ability! Being home and having to do school online was definitely not helping our situation! We started this during a tough time and I feel it truly helped us in a time when we were in a no win situation! I have seen him grow in his ability and confidence. Thank you!

I just wanted to get in touch to thank you again for your brilliant program. My son did Easyread in 2018/19 when he was in year 4 at school. At that point he couldn’t read and was falling behind at school. His school didn’t seem to have any decent strategies to help him so I signed him up to easyread. I’m so pleased that I did. He is now finishing junior school (y6) and his teacher told me in parents evening that his reading assessment level will be greater depth! I’m so proud of him and I know he feels very proud to. I put so much of that down to the contents and approaches of the easyread programme so I wanted to let you know.

Caleb is very excited to have met the 223 lesson and to be getting his helicopter soon. The Easyread program has been great at building his confidence and at helping to realize that there were other eye tracking issues. We would have missed the need for further intervention until much later had it not been for the Easyread program flagging his eye tracking and not seeing improvements after the basic exercises given. Once we had him treated in vision therapy for his binocular insufficiency the gains we saw were great. The reward part of the program is great and gives Caleb something to work towards. It also helps that he loves getting mail and is super excited when it is a toy/something cool. The choices for reading were good in allowing increased difficulty in a range of topics. I liked that the character only reading kept on going throughout the program to make sure there was less guessing and more decoding. The variety of games offered were decent, and for the most part kept Caleb engaged and interested in the program.

I have been very impressed with his improvement. Although still classed as behind for his age with his school reading level he has been moved up to the next level of books in the schools reading scheme, which proves Easyread is really helping. Also Isaac has started to try and read signs and posters which he never would attempt too before.

Calum decodes almost all his words anyway, but he is starting to tackle much longer words now because of the program so I am very happy and relieved. Before he would have had a tantrum and the reading session would have stalled.

I want to take a moment to thank you again for what y’all do. It’s amazing to see where Brycen is in his reading today compared to where we started 10 months ago. Easyread has given him the ability to decode words for the first time in his life. His fluency is picking up and I know it will continue to improve as we stay in our rhythm of reading together every day. Thank you for opening up a new world for him and preparing him for a bright future. His world is going to be different because of the last 10 months and we are excited to share Easyread with our friends who have kids who need what you do!

It has been a life-saving program. Alex was reading between a 1st and 2nd grade level as a rising 4th grader, but after just 223 lessons, he is reading at grade level. His new-found reading skill has opened up a world of learning for him, and he is now learning a lot and doing much better in all subjects. His curriculum is reading-intensive, and he now enjoys reading.

The change in his attitude about reading and learning is maybe more fundamental and transformative than the skill itself. We continue to practice reading, decoding, and spelling, but no longer need Easyread to do these things. The Easyread characters continue to be a useful language for use to talk about sounds separately from letters and his spelling program relies on phonics, making this phonemic language helpful for us.

I really am so grateful for the confidence and quality of learning that easyread has provided my son. As a parent of a neurodiverse child, there are a lot of things i question as a parent if i am doing right. But i know for a fact that easyread has definitely been one of my best decisions. He has come on leaps and bounds with his reading.

He has improved so much, we have just had his annual review at school and they all said how much his confidence has improved as his reading now lets him be more independent in lessons. The reading both in Easyread and the book gets more fluent the further down the page he gets when his confidence grows as he knows ore and more words. The progress is in small steps but there are words a few weeks ago he stumbled on that snow self corrects or knows. His class teacher advised me she is awarding him the class prize this year due to his progress :). Thank you Easyread we will continue our journey with you.

I had a parent/teacher meeting with her teacher and she is on a special education plan (small group help with reading only) so that teacher was there also. They both said they do not worry about Jewlie at all. She falls right in the middle of the classroom. She is at grade level. The Special Education teacher said if I had asked for testing this year she would have fought it as it would not be needed as shown by her grades.

Any strategies she has learned from both this program and the special education she is getting in the classroom have worked.

She is reading more clearly, easily and with better fluency.
