Easy Read is a brilliant system…
Easy Read is a brilliant system. My son once he had settled into the program was eager to use it each morning before he went to school.
His chronological age now is 8 years 5 months and he has a reading age of 1 year. He started when he was 6 years of age. He was so enthusiastic that he used the program when on holiday in Florida 2 years ago.
What is equally as important is that boys can be difficult where reading is concerned.
Easy Read gave my son a thirst for reading all types of books.

Just wanted to let you know that we’ve been really happy with the Easyread course. I’m amazed at the improvement and confidence Christian has now got with his reading. He actually reads books now without being told he has to, the difference being that he can read them now! He does miss Easyread. Thanks it was definitely worth every penny.

Easyread has been absolutely brilliant…
Easyread has been absolutely brilliant. Our 8 yr old daughter Rosie, who was severely struggling at school, put back a year age 7 and told would not really be able to read until she was at least 9 and a half using conventional school teaching method, was transformed by using Easyread. It was hard work for her but she persisted over 11 months with the online lessons and by this summer term she was able to re-join her class mates in her proper year group. She is now a confident reader and is slowly building up her repetoire of books. Easyread uses an excellent system of short simple easy to use characters and fun games to teach a child with dyslexia how to decode words so they can actually read properly. It takes time and effort from the child and their parents/carers to support them but actually works brilliantly and creates very positive self esteem – which often is badly eroded by the time the kid is ‘failing to achieve ‘ at school. The interactive feedback, rewards and support you get from David and the Easyread team is amazing. We cannot recommend Easyread high enough. Really big thanks to David and all his team.

Chloe's reading has significantly improved…
Chloe’s reading has significantly improved – she was always a good reader but her dyslexia according to the school was in decoding new words. In her key Stage 1 SATs she achieved a level 3 for reading; which is excellent!

Lenny’s reading improved tremendeously with Accelerator and we are really happy about that and extremely proud of him. It was a pleasure to watch him gain his self-confidence back. We are grateful to the whole Easyread team that supported the process very professionally.

I would just like to say how delighted we are…
I would just like to say how delighted we are with Andrew’s progress. At the end of last year (year 4) his reading and writing were at level 3C which was below average for his age. He was really struggling to do his work and was a very unhappy boy. At the end of year 5 his results for reading and writing are now both 4C which is above average for his age. He has moved up 3 sub levels in one year and he is now really enjoying literacy at school and is also reading for pleasure. we are so grateful to everyone at Easyread and have had no hesitation in recommending your program to friends who’s children have the same sorts of problems and also to the Literacy Co-ordinator at Andrew’s school. Many thanks.

I have had a really fun time learning how to read and spell with Easyread…
I have had a really fun time learning how to read and spell with Easyread. I have really enjoyed the stories and games and I have gone up four levels in my reading in school. I am now a free reader and I read every night before I go to sleep. I have also gone up a group in spelling.
I was always in the lowest groups before Easyread and I didn’t want to try to do any work because I thought it would be rubbish so what was the point? Now that I can read and spell much better I love literacy and especially writing stories. My teacher says I’m very good at writing stories because I have great ideas and use really good adjectives, verbs and adverbs. Thank you so much Easyread.

I am very impressed with Tyler's progress…
It is now 6 weeks since Tyler started his Easyread lessons and I am very impressed with Tyler’s progress and especially his confidence. Tyler has now started to read out loud, signs and bulletins when we are out shopping, something he would not of attempted before.

Harry generally reads at a fair pace now…
Harry generally reads at a fair pace now and I have been encouraging him to go slower and more steadily when he reads to me, just to get him looking more carefully. I feel that his spelling is beginning to improve – he is beginning to think about the sounds that he is putting down a little more clearly.
The fart machine has caused near riots and lots of laughter. You guys have really thought well about what motivates little boys! Well done and thanks.
Jenny (her son is currently 1/5 of his way into the course)
Amy is really enjoying her spy training…
Amy is really enjoying her spy training and working hard at decoding the words. Amy made a conscious effort to sound out the words rather than read them. She is working hard on her attitude when she finds something difficult (usually the games) and is becoming much better at working through something that she can not do.
I am really pleased with how Amy is doing so far.

I am so excited that I got here…
I am so excited that I got here on level 4 and thanks to my mom and Easy Read I am a great reader now. When I started I was not that happy because I didn’t know how to read good. Now, I can read chapter books and 3rd grade books. I can read 3rd grade books before I start 3rd grade in 2 1/2 weeks.
Thank you David!

Joe has worked hard and enjoyed Easyread which is helping him to sound out new words in reading other texts. We are making progress!

Marc’s reading improved again very noticeably…
Marc’s reading improved again very noticeably about two weeks ago. He is much more confidant. A friend gave him a large rectangular magnifying glass which he used a few times to read smaller writing, he now reads without this – I think he has just realized that he can. Marc sometimes really likes to struggle through something, at least a sentence or two – this is new. He wants to read Harry Potter! Thank you very much for your program – Marc is really coming along and I am grateful for this.
-Best regards, Lindsay
We are finding Easyread fantastic…
We are finding Easyread fantastic. We had tried absolutely everything and were at our wits end when it came to helping Tegan. The first excellent change is that Tegan actually likes to do these lessons and is extremely enthusiastic in her approach to them. Before this, for the last two years or so, any type of lesson was an ordeal and she was beginning to go from a bright enthusiastic student to an uninterested person who seemed so confused with everything academic. I feel that the characters are such a strength to Tegan because she no longer resorts to guessing because she has now got the confidence to work the words out. She even has begun to correct herself if she guesses – how amazing is that! I like the fact that the lessons are short and sweet and to the point and they aren’t a bore like many workbooks on the market. Thanks so much for the support,
-Niamh
Chloe's school report was better then expected…
Chloe’s school report was better then expected and she gained a 4 in all subjects, which she was not in line to do this time last year, the teachers also commented on a big improvmnet to her work and attitude towards learning. I put most of this down to this coarse and a bit of pushing in the right direction.
Very please so far and i hope to still see continue improvment in her new school. Many Thanks,
-Mark
My son started Easyread when he was 8 and…
My son started Easyread when he was 8 and didn’t really have any discernable reading age he stuck with the Easyread programme and it embedded in him a long term strategy of not guessing that still supports his literacy today some 18 months after finishing the programme,

This term Max was in “Gold Level” which is for those children who act as an example to others by helping and working hard, listening and so on. He is also in the second best reading group in his class, he’s now reading books for pleasure and you can sometimes not get him to put out the light at night because he wants to finish his chapter or the whole book.

I should like to congratulate the team on the course that Isaac has just finished…
I am writing this on behalf of Isaac. I should like to congratulate the team on the course that he has just finished. He is now showing increased confidence in his reading and will now attempt to sound out a new word that he has not met before. Isaac enjoyed the course very much and it has made an immense improvement in his ability to read. As he went away on his holidays he asked me if we could meet at least twice a week to continue reading together. I got him a copy of Riply “Believe it or not” just to keep him company on his holidays. Once again many thanks for your help and the teams work during the year.

The promise of the helicopter prize is right up Rose's street, and I think all this is so positive for her…
The promise of the helicopter prize is right up Rose’s street, and I think all this is so positive for her. Today she told me she’d sneaked into my room and taken a pile of Arthur Ransomes she wants to read. At bedtime she got out her reading frame (a card window I made for her because it helps her keep to the correct line of text) and began reading Swallows and Amazons to me – very slowly. I gave her the sounds as you suggested in your last message/video, putting in the correct vowel and consonant sounds for her to blend. I think, especially beginning Easyread whilst she is off school, is giving Rose a lovely positive experience of reading, and she is so relieved to be listened to and acknowledged in her difficulties and her intelligence.
