I can't emphasise how highly I recommend Easyread…
Call it coincidental-I don’t-but Elinor has moved up another level since starting Easyread! She is now on Black level, and although her reading is not perfect, particularly longer, unfamiliar words, she really works at decoding them.
She is only at lesson 91 and I know that there is a long way to go yet – but the prizes are fantastic and she is so excited when she wins one. She is now picking up books and reading them to herself and her younger sister.
Her fluency is improved dramatically and with that improvement, it allows her confidence and stamina to grow as well, so she is happy to tackle longer books. She has never had learning difficulties so to speak, but as (I would consider) a visual learner, when she started she was quite behind her peers and struggling with basic words.
We took quite a considerable break from Easyread recently, during which time she improved slightly but then plateaued. She has gone back to Easyread quite happily and continues to improve. Thank you for the most recent prize of the torch – she loves it!
Sorry for the ramble but I can’t emphasise how highly I recommend Easyread, even if you don’t think your child has learning difficulties but they are struggling with their reading – it’s fantastic.

I am finding the easy read program fantastic…
I am finding the Easyread program fantastic so far, thank you so much. Just thought I would let you know that Thomas has been doing the eye tracking exercises and has noticed a difference in his eye strain already. We have also had his eyes tested by an optometrist who specialises in learning difficulty and he also picked up that Tom has a focusing problem. He was very supportive of the exercises you suggested and also wants Tom to wear multi-focal glasses for a while to help train the muscles in his eyes.
I can’t tell you what a relief it is to finally feel like we are getting somewhere and that Tom is feeling so much better about himself. I have not had a day of school refusal for weeks now!! I should probably give you the ten and ten code word while I am here, thanks again,
D
We are delighted with how Chloe is doing…
We are delighted with how Chloe is doing on the easy read system. She has already started reading chapter books to us, where as last year she was too scared to even attempt one, and preferred to read books with pictures, ( probably so she could guess the words!). Thankyou so much for this system!

Fantastic!…
I thought I would let you know that Andrew has gone from a 3B to 4C in his latest reading assesment. Fantastic!

Ben continues to improve in all areas…
Ben continues to improve in all areas of his school work. And his confidence, which we had all agreed was fine, has improved greatly.

All is going well…
All is going well so far for Clementine with Easyread. She loves doing the lessons and we are definitely feeling that her self-confidence is increasing. Thank you for everything! It’s wonderful to see her reading frustrations starting to vanish.

I have nothing but praise…
Easyread is now part of the daily routine for me and Freya. It’s amazing how she has become so familiar with all the characters and notices that they are used to represent different letters/sounds. For example the eagle can represent the sound ee or ea, (as in bee and bead), which is a more recent progression. She is now sounding out small words with confidence and is more keen to sound out words from school books which wasn’t the case before.
The fact that the lessons are short means we don’t have too much of an issue with concentration. Freya logs in to the actual lesson with her own password and is so familiar with the easy setup that I can get my coffee ready while she sets up the daily lesson!!
I have nothing but praise for the support network as any issues I might have are dealt with so quickly and positively. I am definitely glad I got on board quickly as I know I am giving Freya a really positive start to reading which I wish I had known about for my older daughter.
Thanks,
-G
Elinor is getting better…
Elinor is getting better. She is even happy to do the toadstool game now! We are managing to do Easyread on an almost daily basis, so it is becoming easier. She is also starting to take a bit of an interest in how words are spelt as she has noticed that the number of pictures does not often equal the number of dashes in the second page of each story. So far so good, we just need to keep it up! Thanks for your support.

I am extremely happy with the course so far…
I am extremely happy with the course so far. Ryan is steaming on with his reading and lots of people, most importantly Ryan himself, are noticing!
I still have to remind him to decode all the time and keep it flowing but we really couldn’t be happier. I would say the course seems more designed for boys but I think it needs to be to keep their interest!

Callum is getting on well…
Callum is getting on well, he is happily sounding out the words with the characters and then using the letters to form probably 90 – 95%% of the words. He really enjoys the word mash and can see the benefits when he really concentrates as he will normally get 5/5.
We have seen this improvement in his school reading books as well, which is great.

It is now a joy…
Hol is still reading “Ungar” and I just think easy read has become part of the bedtime routine. I can”t put into words how much she has learnt since May or understand how your system has achieved what her school failed at so miserably. All I can say is that it is now a joy to read with my child rather than an onerous task.

The boys have improved so much with reading…
The boys have improved so much with reading, we look forward to easyread this year. They both are really happy when reading. It is such a joy to see.
So grateful to you and the team.

This is how I feel about Easyread…
Dear David,
This is how I feel about Easyread. I like all the great games I can play and the stories that I can read. I found my spelling improved really quickly. Easyread was really helpful for me and I would recommend it to anyone who would need it.

So far Easyread has been the best thing for Peter…
So far Easyread has been the best thing for Peter. He is more confident and happy in himself as he knows he has found a way that he believes will teach him to read. The support you have given us is paramount as I have tailored my approach to each lesson after discussions with you regarding Peter’s reaction to the lessons. We are both enthusiastic to do the Easyread lessons and I am particuarly looking forward to all the hard work paying off and seeing my son read.
Thankyou!
best regards,
A
We are very happy…
We are very happy with the results we are seeing in Pia since she started with Easyread. We have also told many friends that have similar issues to use Easyread.

Bring on the Roald Dahl!
Just to let you Arun as slowed down on the program as he is reading his own books before he goes to bed. Roald Dahl is a big favourite at the moment. He worked his way through 5 books since the beginning of the Christmas holidays. I think that is amazing for a boy who had not interest in reading before!

I have really enjoyed it…
I have really enjoyed it and it has helped me such a lot.
Tom (Age 16)
I'd also like to say that he's been doing wonderfully…
I’d also like to say that he’s been doing wonderfully with reading his chapter books for leisure and for school and I’ve noticed a serious increase in decoding rather than guessing. I’m quite pleased with this. It was a very subtle change but noticeable!
We’re very thankful for Easyread and have begun to hear of it being used in different schools within our area. Also wanting to share how grateful we are for the support. I know its part of what we pay for but still – its fantastic to see people so passionate about helping people to become literate. Something that is occasionally lacking from teachers in schools whom are just “putting in their time”. Thanks so much!
Cameron has worked really hard and has had such success…
Cameron has worked really hard and has had such success. His dramatic improvement coincided exactly with his participation in Easyread. He now enjoys reading for pleasure, and his reading age was 12 when assessed last June, at which point his chronological age was 9 1/2.

Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!! The program is going so well and we have seen a huge improvement in Aimee’s reading and self-esteem. She now sits still when reading a book, doesn’t get upset or make wild guesses and will decode words – she even had her first spelling homework come home yesterday, she was really hesitant to even look at it, but she gave it a go and she did an amazing job. We started the program over the summer holidays (NZ) and she has gone back to school this week for the new year with a renewed confidence. There is still have plenty of room for improvement but she is building on her knowledge every day. Thank you Easyread 🙂
Tana is going along nicely and…
Tana is going along nicely and has a new level of confidence in her reading. We have found the program very good and exactly what she was needing. She is now sounding out regularly in everyday life, as well as helping her younger sister sound out words.
She still has a long way to go, but we finally feel like we’re heading in the right direction. Thanks. – K
I have found that Anjana's confidence is growing…
I have found that Anjana’s confidence is growing. She is blending the sounds much better rather than guessing.
She still gets her B’s and D’s mixed up at times but tehre has definitely been an overall improvement!
Thanks for an excellent mthod of learning!

Scarlett seems to be doing well…
Scarlett seems to be doing well – is keen to do it every day and its become very much part of her daily activity. Her school report mentioned the work she is doing at home and said it really seems to be helping so even thought we are only halfway through, it seems to be having a positive effect. She is eager to improve.
All the best.
