Just a quick note to let you know how thrilled I am…

Just a quick note to let you know how thrilled I am with Robert’s progress. He still occasionally tries to guess words even with the symbols but it is in his school books that I have really noticed major improvements and he was given recognition yesterday for writing a significant amount in a school assignment – fantastic progress! I’m overjoyed!

I have been so pleased with the progress Oliver has made so far…

I have been so pleased with the progress Oliver has made so far. It has certainly improved from just randomly guessing at words as Easyread has given him the knowledge to start working it out. He particularly enjoys the games, especially the randonmiser button and not knowing what it is going to be. The shortness of the lessons are vital in the continuation of the program for us, as even when Oliver is reluctant he is still fairly willing because he knows it will be over quickly.

So all in all, couldn’t be more pleased, and of course I should mention, that we would never have discovered Oliver’s eye tracking problem, had it not been for Easyread.

Bad points or things to change, ummmm none!

Just wanted to share some great news with you…

Just wanted to share some great news with you. Henri came home with a letter from school last week to say he has been reviewed on his levels and ability in reading , writing and maths. He has made such good progress he will no longer need an IEP. This also means he will not be on the Special Educational Needs register.

This has given Henri a real boost. I’m so pleased for him as he has worked so hard this year. I know there is still a long way to go but Easyread has helped him so much.

Oh and by the way Henri said Easyread didn’t help him because “that’s just EASY”! Need I say more apart from a huge THANK YOU!

Holly's spelling has become amazing!…

Holly’s spelling has become amazing! She had a 30 word spelling test, did no practice and got them all right! This week is the first time I have left her with her english homework ever! This included a page and a half essay which had 30 words with silent letters spelt wrong which needed correcting. We are extremely happy and it’s lovely to see how something so seemingly simple, has made such a difference.

I am more confident at reading now…

I am more confident at reading now, I really like letter quest and word mash. Easyread has helped me a lot, the symbols have helped me work out words.

My son started the Easyread programme the second week of June…

My son started the Easyread programme the second week of June and at that point I was at the end of my tether with programmes I had invested in – nothing seemed to work.

He had just had his report card and he got an F grade. It was recommened that he repeat STD 3. I was completely devastated, I felt I had failed as a parent and had been robbed by all these fake programmes that just generalised your child and did not really focus on the specific problems.

I was practically in tears when I was searching the internet for yet another programme. I guess I was hoping to find something that may be different. I stumbled upon the Easyread system and was drawn to it because of its money back guarantee. I decided to try it (I mean, what do I have to loose I though, nothing is better than a money back guarantee.)

It is now September and although the programme acknowleged that I would not see any real progress in my child’s reading before 3-6months, I tell you I have. My son’s confidence sky rocketed. He is now excited to read wants to read everything! While we were driving, in the supermarket, even for his younger brother! His tutor also spoke about his new enthsiasum to answer questions and read all the time.

School has just reopened and although his recommendation was to repeat STD 3 he sat a test when school reopened and he was promoted to STD4. This is only two weeks into the new school term and my child has been placed in the A class and in the two weekly test he has done he has placed 3rd and 4th in his class of 40 students with a 92% grade average.

I am in tears again (way too emotional) but this time tears of joy. I love the Easyread system beacause to me they cover such a broad group of problems that can, may, should arise with your child. And finally, you can always speak to someone who knows what they are doing. I absolutely love this programme and will recommend it to everybody and anybody. Thanks so much Easyread – you made a believer out of me.

Thank you Laura. It was nice…

Thank you Laura. It was nice talking to you as well. I felt reassured that this is definitely the program for Maya. I also felt such a genuine concern on your part for Maya’s success. I look forward to Maya becoming a confident reader through the EasyRead System!

Sincerely,

A

We are pleased thus far with Easyread…

We are pleased thus far with Easyread. Beatrice is reading more fluently and decoding words with more ease and speed. Plus, she has even picked up a book on her own initiative a few times to read out loud.

What I especially like about Easyread is that it’s always engaging and a win-win session.
-Bernadette (1/5 of the way into the course)

Charlotte is progressing well through the Easyread course…

Charlotte is progressing well through the Easyread course and I am pleased to see how fluent she is now getting with reading the stories as she seems to struggle a little with this at the start of Level 2. She appears to be finding things much easier and enjoyable now and is getting more enthusiastic about reading in general!

On the whole I think the Easyread course is great and because it only takes a maximum of 15 minutes per day it is not difficult to persuade your child to do it! Charlotte enjoys the games (especially Fighter Mission). She is still in the early stages of the course but is already showing very positive signs of progression in her reading. She is no longer guessing words and this is translating through into her reading books from school too. She is now starting to recognise letter pairing sounds too. I expect her to be a confident and happy reader by the end of the course!

I find the support given to parents to help their child through the course is very useful too and if I have had any questions you have always answered my messages very quickly.

Flossie has developed leaps and bounds with her reading…

Flossie has developed leaps and bounds with her reading, thanks to Easyread. She has become a more confident reader, sounding out her words independently and many times with fluency for which we are all thrilled.

Max seems to be progressing well with Easyread…

Max seems to be progressing well with Easyread. We never have any trouble getting him to the computer to do his lesson and he always responds to David’s initial question of how was the lesson yesterday with a big smiley face. He loves the games and has started to move into the faster option in the games which is a real sign of confidence building. I’ve noticed that in his reading outside of Easyread he is begining to decode words more even though he knows the word from sight reading it of old.

I can honestly say that our experience with Easyread has been a Godsend…

I can honestly say that our experience with Easyread has been a Godsend. It does everything it says it will and when you think theres nothing out there that can help Easyread is definitely the answer. If our school had Easyread at the end of the infants and used it throughout reception they could have prevented so many problems. I wish you all the luck in the world and i hope to one day see you in all the schools so that no child ever has to feel different. Thankyou
-Tanya

Thank you for teaching me how to read…

Thank you for teaching me how to read, easyread has been such a great help. Thankyou for letting me join. I want to be on easyread still because i like it. I’m very upset that my course is done because i loved it. My favorite part of easyread was the games i loved jungle jungle, eggi, and eyetracker. I enjoyed every lesson. I still use my bookmark at school because i forget some sounds. I wish they did easyread at school.
I hope i can join again, i’m going to ask daddy. Thankyou David i hope i meet you again.

Ella is doing really well…

Ella is doing really well and is still very motivated to do her lessons. Her reading has suddenly taken off. We are seeing a noticeable difference in her book reading, in which she seems to have gained confidence. Every word you can see she is sounding out “internally”. A massive step forward. Very exciting to watch!

Things have been going very well…

Things have been going very well with Easyread. Harvey loves it and is always keen to do his lesson each day. When he reads to me he decodes each letter and then blends, and then rereads the whole word, which is brilliant. He was in the habit of guessing wildly before we began Easyread, and I had not seen guessing for a long while-perhaps months. Thanks,
-Jo

Wow what a difference this move up has…

Wow what a difference this move up has done!! Zachary found it much more interesting and engaging and challenging today. He smiled all the way through! I cannot believe his decoding of the first exercise… quicker than me!!! And he managed the story much more easily than I had imagined! Decoding difficult words and straight reading for others.
Very well done.

He siad on way to school today that he’s going to ask his teacher for chapter books as he finds his current school books too easy! Such a change! his teacher has noticed a significant improvement also in his reading, writing and stories as well as his ability to decipher things for maths! So thakyou for your amasing program! It is changing our life!

It was good to speak to you…

It was good to speak to you. This is such a great strength of Easyread, that your team is there to talk things over and share suggestions/insights so we parents are not floundering in the dark. I have found your website an invaluable support in beginning to work out what is going on with my daughter’s reading difficulties, and what almost certainly can be ruled out. Being able to read about these issues at length has been illuminating and it is a relief to understand Rose better.

Thankyou for your time today, I’m sorry if it is exasperating for you to hear of situations like ours! I did head in several directions at once, when I first realised the sorts of difficulties Rose experiences, back in July. She has worked very hard with all the challenging things I have put her way. When we can access a working camera I will take a photo of Rose in Spy Mode, I think it would give you a smile. She got dressed up after the arrival of the notebook, stood outside our house, and made notes about passers-by…

Thanks again,
Mel

Thomas’s reading has improved greatly…

Thomas’s reading has improved greatly and he is very much at the standard level for his age. So thank you very much I do appreciate the program.

Kind Regards

She is enjoying reading the story. I think she quite likes your use of language and has been responding with a smile to some of the phrases and the way the story develops.

Thanks you for this program…

Thanks you for this program, Thomas is a much more confident reader now, and it has become more fun and less of a dreaded chore for him.

Sammy is going well and…

Sammy is going well and enjoying esayread. I have definately noticed an improvement not only in her ability to read but also in her willingness to read, try new books and tackle more difficult words. Her teacher at school has also noticed an improvement and is very happy about the change.
Thanks for all your support it is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Cassius seems to be getting on really well…

Cassius seems to be getting on really well. He’s becoming very familiar with the pictures and much more confident at decoding the text. He continues to be very keen to do his lessons which is wonderful! I’m rather enjoying the process myself, knowing how much it will help him!

His skill at reading and decoding is really great…

His skill at reading and decoding is really great and he is much much faster and fluid than when we first started.

I do wonder whether his identified “boredom” as he puts it is because he is “getting it”. Its all beginning to make sense and hes hungry for more, and seeking more complex stuff. Certainly books he gets out of the library are more complex and he doesn’t not try to read them… quite the opposite he does try and does well… just slower as the print is smaller.
We are reading together and he is reading much better in all areas of his life. His teacher is really supportive and is very happy with his progress and current skills.
and his general interest for words and what they mean and how to spell them is growing each day.

He also reports the games to be boring now there is little variation or choice. While these are now optional I get him to do them as they have more challenging words and show when he is guessing – catching him out, as well as when he has had to really work out a word through decoding rather than simply he knows the word. He gets extra special computer fun time for doing them or time with me doing something… his pick.

Zachary’s reading, spelling, maths and writing have improved so much since starting Easyread, his last school testing showed he was only 6 months behind his peers with reading spelling and writing ( a 2.5 yr imrprovement). He is now spelling using more complex words, adjectives and demonstrates much less fear about a collection of words together.

We LOVE Easyread!…

We LOVE Easyread! What a brilliant program! Killian has come so far already and we look forward to it each day! We had no idea what to expect or if it would work for us with our special needs issues. But your support is far beyond what we ever expected and you have helped us every step of the way- despite being continents apart- to easily make immense progress! Your personalized attention helped us identify each problem before it became a hurdle and you prescribed a fitting and perfect solution/exercise to keep us on track before we suffered from a need. If medicine could diagnose and treat patients the way you do for reading students-health would have grown by leap and bounds.
You have not only developed the recipe for reading success, but your understanding of and ability to identify specific problems and consistently provide specific, individualized support and close follow up keeps students progressing beyond expectation.
We can’t thank you enough Easyread!
